:My user name does not represent a company or corporation. Nor is it used in any way elsewhere. It is just easier for me to remember a username that is not a random word. Since I am a big fan of music, I chose this name because the music is counted in bars (8 bars is 32 beats of a drum). I chose this name myself. Thank you for reaching out to me with the concern. This name is original to me, and this account also is solely used by me (as per the instructions above.

::I just looked at that, thank you for showing it to me. This has a different name completely as the use of the letter "z" is in there. You can read more about my choice of username on my page.
::thank you 8barzmusic (talk) 15:38, 19 April 2024 (UTC)
::{{yo|Ominateu}}, {{yo|8barzmusic}} It seems that your user name is the name of a band. Here is the url: https://8barzmusicgroup.org/. It seems the band might have recordings posted on Sound Cloud https://soundcloud.com/8-barz. Are you affiliated with this band? In any case, you might have to change your username and this probably should be discussed somewhere. ---15:25, 19 April 2024 (UTC)
Talk:Lil' Kim ↗
Hello, please review the Lil’ Kim talk page and respond. I do not believe the Lil’ Kim page is a copy vio because the history of the page you sourced from (last.fm) mentioned that they originally copied the Wikipedia article directly in 2006. We license under the Creative Commons meaning that websites are allowed to do this, although technically should be providing attribution which this website is not obviously doing. Please limit your quotations at Witness: Passing the Torch of Holocaust Memory to New Generations ↗
Wikipedia uses only short quotations, and only if there's no alternative. Articles should for the most part be written in our own words, and quotations used only when absolutely necessary. Wikipedia:Non-free content#Text ↗ says "Brief quotations of copyrighted text may be used to illustrate a point, establish context, or attribute a point of view or idea"; "Extensive quotation of copyrighted text is prohibited." Many quotes illustrating the same point, like you have put in ''Witness'', don't clearly follow any of the given reasons to use direct quotes, and I have thus reverted you. Please see the aforementioned page and the essay Wikipedia:Quotations ↗ for more details. <span style="color:#066516">Sennecaster</span> (<span style="color:#8E4106">Chat</span>) 00:30, 30 November 2024 (UTC)

Wikipedia and copyright
30px|alt=Control copyright icon ↗ Hello 8barzmusic! Your additions to :March of Remembrance and Hope ↗ have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted ↗ content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain ↗ or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible ↗ copyright license—''to request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission ↗''. While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright ↗ and plagiarism ↗ issues. Here are the key points:
- '''Limited quotation:''' You may only copy or translate a ''small'' portion of a source. Any direct quotations ↗ must be enclosed in double quotation mark ↗s (") and properly cited using an inline citation ↗. More information is available on the non-free content page ↗. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners ↗.
- '''Paraphrasing:''' Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information ''in your own words''. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues ↗ and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing ↗. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources ↗ as appropriate.
- '''Image use guidelines:''' In most scenarios, only freely licensed ↗ or public domain ↗ images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons ↗. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria ↗; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide ↗ may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- '''Copyrighted material donation:''' If ''you'' hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you ''may'' be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials ↗.
- '''Copying and translation within Wikipedia:''' Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia ↗. For translation, see {{section link|Help:Translation|Licensing}}.
I just removed a paragraph that you added to Edward Mosberg ↗ for the same reason as Diannaa did earlier on the other article. I'm afraid you can't copy and paste content from elsewhere on the internet into Wikipedia; it needs to be written in your own words. VernoWhitney (talk) 20:08, 4 February 2026 (UTC)
