:Okay. That's fair enough. I didn't like the way it opened, but you're fine. The rule of Wikipedia is "assume good faith" after all. I know that titles of office are always capitalized in official documents, correspondence, but in general the Wikipedia rule that I've seen is "governor of Virginia" unless you are referencing "Governor Smith", like you said.
:I actually looked at my edits on the main page about Hampden-Sydney College, but then realized the issue was with the alumni page.
