Rear Admiral Darren Grogan CSM

Hi mate my name is Darren Grogan and I am a RADM in the Australian Navy and currently the Deputy Director of Operations at PACFLT. I note you have regularly updated Wikipedia - any chance you could add me to the Admirla's List please. I'm not sure who is responsible for this and can't work out how to do it my self. Thank you for your consideration mate. Cheers, Darren https://www.cpf.navy.mil/Leaders/Article/3684402/rear-admiral-darren-grogan-csm-ran/ Greville1970 (talk) 03:33, 22 February 2026 (UTC)
:Hi Darren. Thank you for letting me know – I have added you to the list. Cheers, Abraham, B.S. (talk) 09:43, 22 February 2026 (UTC)
::Greetings, could you please also add me to the Australian Vice Admirals list? Regards, Justin Jones &#126;2026-36232-55 ↗ (talk) 06:24, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
:::Apologies for the oversight – I have added you to the list. Please let me know if you can think of anyone else who should be added. Cheers, Abraham, B.S. (talk) 14:25, 22 June 2026 (UTC)

Red Cloud Jr.

thumb ↗
Hey. Saw you reverted my edit on Micheal Red Cloud Jr. Just posting the awards from the source I posted Brendan Peace (talk) 13:55, 9 March 2026 (UTC)
:Hello {{u|Brendan Peace}}. Thank you for finally citing your edits. However, there are discrepancies between the awards you added for Red Cloud and those acknowledged in the source. As already noted by several editors, material you add to Wikipedia must be cited and verifiable ↗. Not all of the awards accredited to Red Cloud are currently verifiable. Cheers, Abraham, B.S. (talk) 12:20, 19 March 2026 (UTC)
::they could be.
::for his Combat Action Ribbon. It was retroactively awarded to USN and USMC combat vets during WWII and Korea (We know he saw combat in WWII)
::for the Army Good Conduct medal, this can’t really be backed up by hard proof. But considering he served 3 years and the fact that we have no records of any criminal actions during that time, he likely would’ve received it
::For the American Defense Service Medal, it was awarded for any period of service between 1939-1941. And we know red cloud enlisted in the USMC prior to the attacks on pearl harbor
::For the Army of occupation medal, it was awarded for any service during occupation, and we know that he served in Kyushu during the occupation of Japan.
::Finally, for his army presidential unit citation. The 24th infantry division was awarded a PUC in September of 1950, meaning that red cloud would have also by default been awarded it due to being in the unit when it was awarded
::Thanks - B.P &#126;2026-17740-40 ↗ (talk) 06:11, 22 March 2026 (UTC)

::::Hello again {{u|Brendan Peace}}. The above raises the same problem multiple editors (myself included) have already tried to discuss with you: you cannot rely on assumption or conjecture as evidence for the material you add to Wikipedia. As per WP:V ↗, if a source specifically says "Red Cloud was awarded x, y and z" you can include those specific awards in his article. If, however, you have sources like the above that say "Someone is generally eligible if they meet x criteria", you cannot use that as evidence of Red Cloud's eligibility as you are assuming – without definitive proof – that Red Cloud likely met that criteria and would have been eligible. Additions to Wikipedia must be verifiable and not based on assumption. Cheers, Abraham, B.S. (talk) 06:45, 22 March 2026 (UTC)

Robert Sheldon Scott DD214

I managed to request a digital copy Mr Scott's DD-214 (Discharge Document) from the National Archives. Unfortunately they were unable to find his final document from his retirement in 1965, but they did provide his original discharge document from 1945. would this be a sufficient source for me to add his awards

Wikipedia:Destubathon of the Americas ↗

You are invited to participate in the '''Destubathon of the Americas ↗''', a contest/editathon which will run from May 1 to May 31. The goal is to destub as many of our 475,000+ stubs for the Americas (from Alaska down to Chile) as possible. A good chance to have fun in expanding many of our old stale stubs and win up to £2000 ($2680) in Amazon vouchers for expanding stub articles. Sign up in the Contestants/participants section on the contest page if interested. Even if not interested in prizes you are still warmly welcome to participate in it as an editathon! Hopefully we can achieve something significant in the month of May together! ♦ <span style="font-variant:small-caps;color:#aba67e">''Dr. Blofeld''</span> 16:37, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
