On what basis are you changing MDY to DMY?

Doug Weller talk 16:11, 5 April 2026 (UTC)

:Hi, hope you are well!
:DMY is the most common format globally and least likely to cause confusion. Moreover, I usually edit wiki pages related to Iran and they only use DMY and YMD. However, I usually leave the MDY format if the wiki page is, for example, about an Iranian person who died in the US (since the US is one of the few countries that actually use the MDY format). What are your thoughts on this?
:Thanks! Amhmr (talk) 16:27, 5 April 2026 (UTC)
