:She is an important figure, but what you say is true too; not much else has yet been published on her. Maybe then, it's only right, if this article gets deleted. I don't recommend doing so until there is more citations and references that you've located or it will probably just be tagged for an AFD discussion. If it is deleted at AFD, it will be much harder to restore so I'd wait until more supporting literature is found. Kumaun University Alumni Update

Hi @Apandeyhp89, hope you're well. I wanted to know if its possible to update Kumaun University alumni page?

The last edit you made was back in 2023, and the list has been quite old since then. I was wondering if it was possible for me to recreate the page from list based to reorganizing it with different industries, add some short context with alumni names, and update the list. If so, I would love to contribute to your work. I have did some research and have new alumni to add to the list.

I tried editing the page on my own, but can't seem to edit the alumni list. I also cannot recreate a page on my own as it would duplicate the existing page made by you and I'm also new to the platform so I cannot publish any article as of now.

:Hi Svnnyk, thanks for writing. The page I created is a category page, not a list page. A category can be added to all the relevant Wikipedia articles; you can see which categories an article belongs to at the bottom of that article, in a grey box with blue highlighted category headings. If you click on any one of those category headings, the Wiki page of that category opens up. That is what the Kumaun University alumni category also is. It cannot be edited, other than some brief description of the subject of the category added at the top of the page.
:What you can do is to create an altogether new Wikipedia article, titled Kumaun University Alumni. You can organise it in the form of a list, and add not just hyperlinks to the wiki pages of alumni, but also descriptions of each alumni, and even add photos if you want to. Once you have prepared the new article in your user sandbox, you can 'move it' from sandbox to article, upon which it will come to the attention of Wikipedia admins, and be reviewed. If your page is well structured and has properly cited references (especially for all the text it has), there should be no problem in it getting accepted and published by the admins, upon which your article will begin to turn up on Google searches.
:Also, I am not connected to this university, but have also created similar pages for other educational and research institutions in other parts of India.
