Or, you can just type '''<code>{{tl|help me}}</code>''' on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian ↗! Please sign your name ↗ on talk pages using four tildes (<nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Alright, I've read up on that and will follow this sites policies in the future. However is there any way the work I did on that page to be recovered? I've put a lot of effort into it and it means a bit to me. Thanks! Baconheimian (talk) 15:52, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
It was being used for multiple projects. However, I would like to recover the entire text of the page. Thanks! Baconheimian (talk) 16:27, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
:It would be nice if an administrator could email the contents of the page to you so that you can do things with it elsewhere. I don't know if anyone will do so. However, it looks like you do not have email enabled at the moment, which would make it impossible for them to do so anyway. You can enable it under Preferences at the top right. Disambiguation link notification for May 9

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2020 Sam Houston State Bearkats football team ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page ABC ↗<!-- ([//dispenser.info.tm/~dispenser/cgi-bin/dablinks.py/2020_Sam_Houston_State_Bearkats_football_team check to confirm]&nbsp;|&nbsp;[//dispenser.info.tm/~dispenser/cgi-bin/dab_solver.py/2020_Sam_Houston_State_Bearkats_football_team?client=notify fix with Dab solver])-->. Please use edit summaries

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello. Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia ↗. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary ↗. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief ↗.

The edit summary field looks like this:

'''Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make.''' With a Wikipedia account ↗ you can give yourself a reminder by setting {{myprefs|3|check={{int:tog-forceeditsummary}}}}, and then click the "{{int:saveprefs}}" button.
