Pokemon Go Edit

Hey!

While I understand why you made this edit ↗ I need to explain why the usage of "worldwide".

Per WP:VG/GL ↗ releases in the lede are kept very general, as it says in the linked project page there "In the article lead, release dates should be summarized to be as general as possible, avoiding specific mention of platform and region releases unless significant. Whenever possible, the release dates in the lead should be summarized to the year of release, or month and year if further applicable.".

Since we know the game will be out by the end of the month, "worldwide" is preferred as we know for a fact that it will be released worldwide in July. This follows guidelines and keeps things nice and tidy.

I just undid your edit claiming the runtime was 75 minutes. I saw your screenshot showing a streaming runtime of 75 minutes, but even if it was a legitimate source it's clearly not from any English-speaking country, much less the U.S. Foreign broadcasts of a show like GoT may be edited to meet local censorship standards. Also, broadcasts in PAL or SECAM territories of material shot at 24 fps (the usual frame rate of film) may be shortened by "PAL speedup", or playback at 25 fps (about 4% faster) to match PAL/SECAM frame rates of 25/50 fps; that is not a significant issue with broadcasts at NTSC frame rates of 30/60 fps. Because of those factors, runtime reports for U.S. shows from outside the U.S. are likely to be unreliable. Thus, the previously reported runtime of 82 minutes should stand unless & until a reliable source with access to HBO in the U.S. is found. --RBBrittain (talk) 05:29, 20 May 2019 (UTC)

I don't really see the logic that User:Danieleb82 and I should even be the same person other than the fact that he's been using Swedish IPs to go around blocking, which feels like stretching to me. I also fail to see the logic in a simple troll vandalising Wikipedia for over a decade (my account is from 2007, his from 2018). I never had any problem with blocks and warnings until 2018, that means I (apparently) handled myself fine for 11 years before. My biggest problem is good faith edits where I don't use (or forget) sources. If it helps I have the same username on several other sites (Last.fm, The Backloggery, Overclocked Remix, Bandcamp (all possible to find with a simple googling)) which, in my opinion, makes me seem more like a serious user. If I google "Danieleb82" I only get the sockpuppet investigation from this site. I'm not sure what I can do more to plead my case. Oh, except for the fact that I even bother which Danieleb82 never did. I am truly serious and genuine. I've never been banned from something before and I wouldn't want it to be for something I didn't do. If there's anything more I can do, just tell me, because I don't know anymore. To prevent a "chicken or the egg ↗" situation (people refuse to unblock your IP because your account is blocked, and people refuse to unblock your account because your IP is blocked), I've changed your block to be no longer be a checkuser block. That allows any admin to overrule this block and unblock you. If you're not Danieleb82, I'm not really sure what to say. What's going on at articles like {{history|Too Close for Comfort Tour}}? :In September 2018 I was keeping half an eye out for Swedish IPs because of disruption and block evasion by Danieleb82, and on an article I was busy protecting from a Kentish person's disruption ↗ I saw this change ↗ by IP 85.24.216.217 ↗ which turned out not to be from Kent, UK, but from Sweden. I assumed at the time it was Danieleb82 simply because it was a music article and the IP was Swedish. I did not know it was Blacknuz editing while logged out. Another involved IP is 85.24.216.184 ↗ which was blocked two weeks ago. Both of these IPs are from Karlskoga while Danieleb82 is usually using Stockholm IPs such as the blocked range Special:Contributions/83.185.32.0/20 ↗.
