A tag has been placed on :2019–20 Manmohan Memorial National One-Day Cricket Tournament ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.) that does not credibly indicate ↗ how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable ↗.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may '''contest the nomination''' by visiting the page ↗ and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the {{Querylink|Special:Log|qs=type=delete&page=2019%E2%80%9320+Manmohan+Memorial+National+One-Day+Cricket+Tournament|deleting administrator}}. <!-- Template:Db-notability-notice --><!-- Template:Db-csd-notice-custom --> ☮️Counter-Strike:Mention 269🕉️(🗨️ ● ✉️ ↗ ● 📔 ↗) 04:59, 11 January 2025 (UTC)
:@CSMention269 This is an old one, and I agree it should go, but I dont know what happened as until today it was only a redirect. Someone has removed the redirect, added on paragraph, and then shortly after that, the deletion nomimation was made. So yes as it stands its a non-article, and retrospectively the tournament didnt develop anyway, but I had already redirected and the resulting page was in a better state than it is now. I wonder if you have any information on this tournament for both men (in Panama) and women (in Costa Rica) in April? Mohammed07102007 (talk) 09:52, 6 April 2025 (UTC)
:@Mohammed07102007 Not yet. Only that both were mentioned in the calendar of events for Belize. Hopefully the events will be confirmed and announced soon. As soon as I see anything, I will update the season page. Bs1jac (talk) 10:00, 6 April 2025 (UTC)
IP blocks (again)
{{unblock reviewed|reason=Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. My IP address is 148.252.140.174. This has happened a few times in the last year. It started working again for a while, and now im blocked again. ESPNCricinfo error
Hello. Could you please inform your ESPNCricinfo contact that they have incorrectly attributed Grace Werherall's runs in the Jersey Vs Spain match to Chloe Greechan? Shrug02 (talk) 15:51, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
:@Shrug02 Yep seen that too. Will give them a nudge Bs1jac (talk) 15:52, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
:@Shrug02 Hopefully they will fix it tomorrow. Do you know where the info came from regarding this year's inter insular matches? Bs1jac (talk) 20:55, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
::@Bs1jac Hopefully they will. I had to get my calculator out to update the infoboxes! As for the inter-insular I've only seen this https://www.cricketeurope.com/FINALSCORE/2025/GUERNSEY/international.shtml Nothing official on either Jersey Cricket or Guernsey Cricket. Shrug02 (talk) 21:06, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
:::You probably already saw, but they fixed the scorecard and they have also added the inter-insular T20 series. By the way, please feel free to update the player list stats if you like. There are so many teams playing games now that I can't keep up and not enough people are helping, so even if you just look after Jersey (and Guernsey?) that would be amazing. I usually wait until Cricinfo have all the scorecards for a tournament. Bs1jac (talk) 19:52, 27 May 2025 (UTC)
::::Thanks for sorting that. I'd be more than happy to help out with the player list stats. Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Gibraltar are the teams I mainly follow so if it'll help I'll do them for sure. Shrug02 (talk) 19:58, 27 May 2025 (UTC)
:::::@Shrug02 Fantastic. When there are several events going on, especially European summer, there are loads of lists and I try to get all associates done within a few days but its getting harder... if I can prioritise other teams over the British Crown dependencies, that would be a great help. ::::::No worries. I'll do those four countries (men and women) as I follow all four closely and I'm a bit of a statistics badger so it'll be fun to get involved. 2025 Women's Inter-insular
Hi @Bs1jac I've added wicket keeper to Hanna Atkinson as she is credited with a stumping in the official T20I so must have kept wicket despite the Guernsey Facebook squad announcement saying Krista Da La Mare was wicket keeper. I also noticed ESPNCricinfo have Atkinson n as captain but I can't confirm or deny that. They also have Chloe Greechan down as wicket keeper for Jersey which is definitely wrong as she bowled three overs. It is much more likely Tallulah Spry kept wicket (she actually is a wicket keeper) or possibly Georgia Mallet (although she hasn't kept for years). Again I wasn't at the match this year so can't confirm. Finally (apologies for the length of this), I've updated both teams statistics pages. All the best. Shrug02 (talk) 12:26, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
:@Shrug02 I told cricinfo that the keepers and captains might be wrong. They received poor quality cards and will update when they get the official cards. Thanks for doing the lists! Bs1jac (talk) 13:02, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
Jersey Women
Hello. Just to let you know I will update the Jersey Women T20 table page as per our previous discussion but I'm waiting for ESPNCricinfo to put the information for the second Jersey/Brazil match in. The ICC website has the scorecard but for some reason Cricinfo still doesn't, even though they do have today's match info. All very bizarre. Anyway just wanted to let you know I hadn't forgotten. All the best. Shrug02 (talk) 15:51, 4 September 2025 (UTC)
:Yeah no worries, knew you would be on this! I went to do the Brazil list earlier but came across the same thing. Bs1jac (talk) 16:30, 4 September 2025 (UTC)

Rohit Sharma ↗
Hello! You may not know that I am an editor for Vietnamese Wikipedia. In Sunday, 21st December, I created the article Rohit Sharma ↗ on the Vietnamese Wikipedia ↗. It also marked a major turning point for me, as this was my first article about a cricketer on the Vietnamese Wikipedia. Before I created it, the history of the Vietnamese Wikipedia, they was only had two articles about a cricketer, are Sachin Tendulkar ↗ and Virat Kohli ↗. I am currently nominating it on the DYK of the Vietnamese Wikipedia ↗. And I sincerely apologize if I have in any way bothered you or made you feel uncomfortable because you don't know even a little bit of Vietnamese, because most of the users in Vietnamese Wikipedia aren't very knowledgeable about cricket. So, could you read about it? Mohammed07102007 (talk) 08:39, 26 December 2025 (UTC)

Update required: Death of Kim Elgie
Hi,
I would like to point out that the article currently describes Kim Elgie ↗ as the "oldest living South African Test cricketer". However, multiple reliable sources have confirmed that he passed away on September 16, 2025, at the age of 92.
The official Scottish Rugby website published an obituary on December 1, 2025, confirming his death. Additionally, ESPNcricinfo has also updated his profile to reflect his passing in 2025.
Could someone please update the article to reflect this information and change the status from "living" to "deceased"?

Hello, ESPNCricinfo has wrongly listed 1,019 ODI for Australia. Aus has played 1,020 as of March 2026. They have excluded the Only ODI played between NZ and AUS right before Covid. Inclusion of Challenge League List A matches in 2026 seasonal articles
Hi Bs1jac,
I hope you're doing well.
I wanted to get your thoughts on an update regarding the classification of 50-over matches for lower-tier Associate nations. As you may know, the ICC previously updated the Classification of Official Cricket to award official '''List A status''' to matches played within the 2024–2026 Cricket World Cup Challenge League ↗ framework (which includes both League A and League B teams).
Furthermore, the ICC Board directly clarified/amended this rule during their recent meetings in Ahmedabad, confirming that these Challenge League teams remain eligible to play other sanctioned List A limited-overs matches throughout their entire tournament cycle.
'''Links:'''
Given that these teams are now playing official List A One Day matches, I wanted to see how we should best document this on seasonal tracker pages. Should we include these scheduled List A fixtures under Associate international cricket in 2026 ↗, or would it be more appropriate to list them alongside the broader schedule in International cricket in 2026 ↗?
Looking forward to hearing your perspective on how we should handle the layout for this cycle.
Best regards,
'''<span style="color:#196666;">Elison Pokhrel</span>''' <span style="color:#002bb8"><b><small>TALK</small></b></span> 02:20, 13 June 2026 (UTC)
:@Elison Pokhrel Hi. Challenge League events are included on (e.g. ) International cricket in 2026 ↗.
:We decided a while back that the associate season pages would include T20 matches only (T20I status and some select non-status events, i.e. only those in regional championships and multi-sport events). However we did allow 50 events in very specific cases (ACC parhways).
:International cricket in 2026 ↗ includes almost all events involving full members, plus 50-over WC pathways (as these are limited to the top associates). The point was to avoid flooding those pages with minor associate series.
:Regarding the latest ICC news, I dont think any 50-over bilateral or mini event should be included. They won't be ODIs and are equivalent to List A matches between e.g. England Lions and Scotland, or India A and SL A. We dont include non-T20I/ODI events unless they are WC/Asia Cup pathways. The associate seasons already contain a lot. Can reassess in a few months perhaps. Bs1jac (talk) 06:39, 13 June 2026 (UTC)
::Thanks! But in the future, Nepal is going on a tour to Jersey, so does that count as notable or not? '''<span style="color:#196666;">Elison Pokhrel</span>''' <span style="color:#002bb8"><b><small>TALK</small></b></span> 08:09, 13 June 2026 (UTC)
:::@Elison Pokhrel That's where the grey area is at the moment. They are not full international status, and we have to be careful about where we draw the line. That series should definitely not be on the main season, but possibly. For associate seasons, it is questionable, but I wouldnt be against it. Note that we would only inclide series that actually are played with List A status (not potential other series played between eg Nepal and Jersey where they choose not to play with this status)
:::You could add a sentence to the intro after it talks about T20Is, to say that as of a certain date, the ICC gave eligibility to CL teams to play list A status one day games. We would also need to adjust the men's bilateral series table (asdociates) to include a column for List A (which would be blank in most cases) Bs1jac (talk) 08:37, 13 June 2026 (UTC)
