Disambiguation link notification for October 16
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited St Giles' Cathedral ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tympanum ↗ ([//dispenser.info.tm/~dispenser/cgi-bin/dablinks.py/St_Giles%27_Cathedral check to confirm] | [//dispenser.info.tm/~dispenser/cgi-bin/dab_solver.py/St_Giles%27_Cathedral?client=notify fix with Dab solver]). Such links are usually incorrect ↗, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.)

Hi CPClegg, this is just to say that I've removed your PROD tag from Mayfield, Edinburgh ↗. It's notability comes down to whether it's a legally recognised, populated place. Since other comparable subdivision of Edinburgh have articles, I think you should consult AfD on whether the article ought to be deleted. Best, Modussiccandi (talk) 12:32, 14 December 2021 (UTC)

Life Church, Edinburgh
Regarding me adding "baffling links to disambiguation pages" at Life Church, Edinburgh ↗, I like to remark that you reverts were even worse. What I did was maintain the links to disambiguation pages but in a way that the maintenance bots got fooled into thinking that it was not a link to a disambiguation page. The denomination-page you restored was also a link to a disambiguation page, but one that would have been seen by the bots as needing a solution. And yes, I have seen that you offered the solution, something I could not do without gambling.
Merry Christmas. The Banner talk 17:09, 22 December 2022 (UTC)
