25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Welcome to Wikipedia ↗. We appreciate your contributions ↗, but in one of your recent edits to :The Shining (film) ↗, it appears that you have added original research ↗, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say ↗. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source ↗ for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources ↗. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 00:33, 3 December 2023 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for December 19

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson episodes ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Richard Lewis ↗. Such links are usually incorrect ↗, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.)

Categorizing articles

Hello. In case you're not aware, one of the main things to keep in mind when categorizing articles is that our goal is to place them in the most specific categories possible ↗. That means an article should not be in a category and its subcategory. Articles about newspapers don't belong in state-level categories if they're already in city-level ones. Please consider reverting your edits {{diff|The Atlanta Journal-Constitution|prev|1211543049|like this one}}. Thank you! - Eureka Lott 15:58, 3 March 2024 (UTC)

:My apologies, I will revert them. Cahlin29 (talk) 21:37, 3 March 2024 (UTC)

RE: NEVENT

You've made several articles that make me worry about your understanding of NEVENT. A crime article usually must pass WP:NEVENT ↗ - usually this means having long term, sustained coverage and retrospective analysis, or having a significant impact on something, like law. Citing entirely breaking news sources does not show notability. Medford was actually notable (and I added sources showing that), but your published version did not. Neosho *already had* an article on the perpetrator, and your article was a shorter stub about the same topic that did not evidence its long term notability, so I redirected it. 2013 Radda airstrike ↗ doesn't particularly evidence its notability either. Build an article off of later sources instead of ones immediately after the event PARAKANYAA (talk) 23:31, 26 March 2024 (UTC)

:Hello,
:Thanks for your feedback, it's cool to meet someone that has an interest in similar topics as I do.
:I'll be more mindful, I guess I was focusing on what's covered by lots of Reliable Sources (obviously a crime talked about by just one news outlet doesn't warrant a Wikipedia page) instead of long-term coverage.

Greg Leisz

I don't know why you created a category for "Albums produced by Greg Leisz" because he's not a producer, he's an instrumentalist. Please fix or revert the changes you've made to the various pages involving this musician. hbent (talk) 20:05, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
