Noted your change to the Suisan B-29 crash. Be careful of the sources. The Check Six website is entertaining but cannot be counted on for accuracy. Example - they list the first X-31 as having flown 292 missions, but it actually crashed on its 67th flight. Hello! I am currently in the process of putting together a Request for Comment/User conduct regarding the potentially disruptive editing by user Tim Zukas ↗. It is pertaining to this user's continued refusal to cite sources properly, including on some articles with GA status. It appears that you tried to give :Ferris Red Oak Muni ↗ a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move ↗", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history ↗, which is legally required for attribution ↗. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be ''moved'' to a new title together with their edit history.

Colorful timelines



Hi Carguychris,

I see you've been adding all sorts of colors in some car timeline templates. A lot of them appear to be linked to where they were built or by whom. I have to ask, is this really necessary or useful? The primary function of these timeline templates is to show what models were available when. They're also grouped by body type or size. Any other info can be found in the model pages themselves. IMO, the extra colors just distract from the rest of the timeline. Hi. I prefer to write on your talk page. Yes I agree with you concerning the length of the list, which I contributed adding, since last June, approximately over 900 airlines and it's no over. To split the table into smaller would be the solution. I adopted this system in the List of lighthouses in Italy ↗. The current table would be divided by State ↗ using the cut and paste method. I noticed that you have been removing the slot 'Delta Airlines' as well as 'United Airlines' including their respective seasonal scheduled non-stop destinations of 'New York's John F. Kennedy' and 'Newark's Newark Liberty International Airport.' In news articles and websites, it states that Delta Airlines (and possibly United Airlines) will resume their seasonal scheduled non-stop routes in the summer of 2022 (while a date hasn't yet been confirmed). To remove these airlines and destinations from this webpage constitutes them as rescinding all rights to their respective routes and route network in which either airline has not yet engaged in as of January 14th, 2021. Undesignated aircraft



I noticed that you included the M-class and N-class blimps in the list of undesignated Navy aircraft. Both classes were acquired after the adoption of the first Navy airship designation system, so I don't believe there was ever a time when they were in service and undesignated. ::The disclaimers are a good idea, but I'm opposed to including it in the USN designations page and template for the following reasons: (1) Joe Baugher doesn't specify which sources he believes to be erroneous, so it is safe to assume that "some sources" includes Andrade's claim. Furthermore, in his list of sources he includes Ray Wagner's ''American Combat Planes of the 20th Century'' as the reference for the NF-1 never being designated under the USN system. (2) It would break the norm for the USN to assign a designation to an aircraft which was never actually acquired. (3) Given the fact that "FN-1" is probably a simple typo for "NF-1", it's almost certain that an author saw it and thought it was official and didn't even bother checking for documents. I recently had a lengthy discussion at the Chinese Tea House to confirm that the two are the same thing, and that there is a huge difference in understanding between the English and Chinese papers. Beechcraft Baron production



I saw your update of Beechcraft Baron numbers ↗, and I have a few notes. First, I had only included new builds for each prefix for simplicity. Second, the Textron list only includes aircraft sold to civilian customers, so it leaves out a few company-owned prototypes such as TG-1 which are found in the R.W. Simpson source. And finally, we might need to double check the TF-series. It was my understanding that ''all'' TF-series aircraft were conversions from the TC-series, just that it was unclear which serial numbers they were converted from. :@ZLEA, Howdy! I had a feeling the Simpson reference was there for a reason, which is why I included the exhaustive hidden footnote. Here's what I've found after poring through Simpson and Baugher and the spreadsheet I created from the Textron document.
:Simpson lists the T-42/B55B separately and says 70 aircraft built, which is consistent with Baugher. 65 aircraft originally ordered by the U.S. Army (TF-1 to TF-65) are listed by Baugher in 1965-1966 and completely ignored by Textron; they're not listed anywhere else in the document. 5 aircraft given to Turkey are listed by Baugher in 1971 (TF-66 to TF-70, USAF 71-21053 ... 71-21057); these aircraft are listed by Textron but specifically excluded from the B55 count. I think we can declare this settled at 70.
:Simpson says 82 56TC and 12 A56TC aircraft including 56TC prototype TG-1, totaling 94. Textron says 82 56TC (TG-2 to TG-83) and 11 A56TC (TG-84 to TG-94), totaling 93, specifically excluding TG-1. There's a one-aircraft discrepancy in the number of A56TC aircraft built, but the total number of 56-series aircraft adds up to 94 either way, so I'll declare this good enough. (I'll probably add a footnote to 56-series section.)
:Both Simpson and Textron account for 95-55 prototype TC-1, which was evidently sold because it's on the FAA registry ↗, and the 95-55 production totals agree at 190.
:Simpson says 1,958 B55 aircraft built. Textron says 1,951 and specifically accounts for five B55 to T-42 conversions (TF-66 to TF-70, pulled from the TC-1372 to TC-1402 range). We're left with a 7-aircraft discrepancy in the B55 production total. However, Textron's list is exhaustive and does not include any apparent "holes" in the TC-prefix serial range. I surmise that Simpson missed the five T-42 conversions for Turkey and/or miscounted the B55 considering that A55, B55, and C55 serial numbers overlap in 1964-1965.
:Bottom line: my total of 7,003 includes 6,933 55/56/58 aircraft per Textron and 70 T-42 aircraft per Baugher. I overlooked 56TC(?) TG-1, which should bring the total to 7,004. Not sure what to say about the apparent 7-aircraft discrepancy, but the Textron total is more conservative, and all the serial numbers are accounted for.
