John Ratcliffe Hello Cesspool135 instead of getting into an edit war let’s work together to make the CIA John Ratcliffe picture a better quality I’m sure Wikipedia has tools to make it better. Of course it’s Photoshop I think we have to keep it his page because he’s in that current office. He’s not at DNI anymore. I don’t know how to download pictures or do all that but I’m sure Wikipedia has the tools to make it better quality. Thank you so much and I look forward for your response.2600:1004:A032:77CE:A0A4:26F:B2BA:407 ↗ (talk) <!--Template:Undated--><small class="autosigned">—&nbsp;Preceding undated ↗ comment added 01:38, 21 May 2025 (UTC)</small> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

2024 Trump rally at Madison Square Garden

When you make major changes to an article, especially one on a controversial one like the 2024 Trump rally at Madison Square Garden ↗, you should use an edit summary to explain your rationale for your edit. It's also very helpful to discuss major changes like that on the article's talk page. Guettarda (talk) 00:07, 29 October 2024 (UTC)

Please stop changing the first image on Engelbert Dolfuss' article.

Greetings, I am Austrian123.
Please stop changing the first image on Engelbert Dolfuss ↗' article. The photo, as I said 6 times, and I am repeating once again, is poorly-lit, grainy and with a resolution even lower than the painting because the digital compression "imperfections" add up to the already low-quality image. Facial details such as the mustache, hair, eye details and skin are almost inexistent in the photo.
The painted portrait, on the other hand, is well-lit, detailed, facially readable, and in line with how Engelbert Dollfuss has been represented in state institutions such as the Heeresgeschichtliches Museum. It has been used in official contexts, carries greater cultural recognition, and is visibly clearer for readers.
Per WP:IMAGERELEVANCE ↗, the most representative and recognizable image should be used not necessarily the most photographic one.
There is no reason on why one should prefer the photograph over the painting. If you want, you can upload the photograph under a Gallery section. Austrian123 (talk) 16:30, 11 April 2025 (UTC)

:Should I add it lower down in the article? Cesspool135 (talk) 16:44, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
::Yes, please. Thank you very much. Austrian123 (talk) 10:28, 12 April 2025 (UTC)

Changing the image of Mengistu Haile Mariam

Hello, Cesspool135. I kindly ask you not to delete the image in the infobox of the article about Mengistu Haile Mariam. If the photo is very old and "recognizable", this does not make it better than the recently appeared analogues on Wikimedia and certainly does not give it a special status (unless it is a featured one, etc.). Moreover, you deleted a photo that is different from the one I inserted there earlier, and judging by the fact that no one has deleted it before you, everyone was happy with it. So please leave it alone. Algirr (talk) 00:14, 17 May 2025 (UTC)

:@Cesspool135 I hope that you and I will finally come to an understanding? Algirr (talk) 01:13, 18 May 2025 (UTC)
::Alright. Cesspool135 (talk) 02:08, 18 May 2025 (UTC)

Trisha Paytas ↗ Infobox image deletion

Hello {{u|Cesspool135}}. I'm Quaerens-veritatem. Regarding the Trisha Paytas ↗ article, I noted at 01:05 on 13 August 2025 that you deleted the image File:Trisha Paytas - Huh What Oh OK.gif here ↗ with the edit summary "''This gif includes impact font subtitles and should not be in the infobox''". I am not cognizant of the Wikipedia maxim supporting this; therefore, for my education:<br>
A. Could you please direct me to the supporting Wikipedia precept or precepts for your deletion of the image that had been previously uploaded without objection?<br>
B. Did you happen to contact the image user? (Per Deleting images ↗: "Consider contacting the user who uploaded the image, telling them of your concerns.")<br>
Thank you in advance for the help and information. Quaerens-veritatem (talk) 13:36, 19 August 2025 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello. Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia ↗. I noticed that one or more recent edits you made did not have an edit summary ↗. Collaboration among editors is fundamental to Wikipedia, and every edit should be explained by a clear edit summary ↗, or by discussion on the talk page ↗. Please use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit or to describe what it changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief ↗.

The edit summary field looks like this:
{{Edit summary field/OOUI}}

or in the visual editor:
{{Edit summary field/VisualEditor}}

{{strong|Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make.}} When logged in to your Wikipedia account ↗, you can give yourself a reminder by setting {{myprefs|3|check={{int:tog-forceeditsummary}}}}, and then click the "{{int:saveprefs}}" button.

30px|alt=Stop icon ↗ '''You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war ↗.''' This means that you are repeatedly reverting content back to how you think it should be, despite knowing that other editors disagree. Once it is known that there is a disagreement, users are expected to collaborate ↗ with others, avoid editing disruptively ↗, and try to reach a consensus ↗ – rather than repeatedly reverting the changes made by other users.

Important points to note:
# {{strong|Edit warring is disruptive behavior ↗ – regardless of how many reverts you have made;}}
# {{strong|Do not engage in edit warring – even if you believe that you are right.}}
You need to discuss the disagreement on the article's talk page ↗ and work towards a revision that represents consensus among everyone involved. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard ↗ or seek dispute resolution ↗ if discussions reach an impasse. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection ↗. {{strong|If you continue to engage in edit warring, you may be blocked ↗ from editing.}} <!-- Template:uw-ew --> <span style="color:MidnightBlue;">Zalaraz</span> (<span style="color:black; font-weight:bold;">talk</span>) 04:48, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
