You are right. I will try to rewrite it. I have other interesting things I wanted to add (JC Bach, a couple of C20th operas and Gilbert and Sullivan for radio in 1989) but am struggling to find really good references - I'll do both at the same tiem in due course. Hello! I'm about to expand Mead's article. I noticed back in 2008 you added a book reference entitled ''C. P. Mead'' by N. Jenkinson. Hello again! I've pretty much finished expanding the article, just the lead needs doing. I was just wondering if the book contains any mention of the following?

Any mention of Mead's funeral at Bournemouth Crematorium and North Cemetery. ''Find A Grave'' has his grave listed, but can't be used as a source. No announcement in local or national papers of it either.

*:Thanks for looking, much appreciated :) Very self-evident is the first! Doesn't appear in his ''Wisden'' or ''The Cricketer'' obits. Comes from when the article was created in 2005 ↗, so suspect it was the IP editors personal (but obvious) opinion. Very strange his funeral doesn't get any mention in local papers around Hampshire/Bournemouth. Looks like I'll have to cut that out as well! AA (talk) 21:12, 16 September 2025 (UTC)
