Aviation sources

I just removed your jetphotos.com reference on Boeing 747 ↗. It is a fan site with user generated content WP:UGC ↗ so cannot be considered as a reliable source. It's worth taking a look at WP:BADAIRSOURCE ↗ for other sources to avoid in aviation articles. Thanks. 10mmsocket (talk) 06:59, 6 May 2026 (UTC)

:I understand the reasons for removal. It seems the entry will unfortunately have to be removed since the news article used as the other source doesn't mention the aircraft's MSN and registration serial. Thanks. ChonkyTomcat (talk) 07:00, 6 May 2026 (UTC)

A kitten for you!

left|150px ↗
Here's a kitten for all the obscure information you've added to aviation articles! I would give you a Tomkitten, but there's no template for that.

:Awwww! Thank you so much for the kitten! I feel delighted knowing my contributions are appreciated here especially since they're fun facts that need to be told so they don't fade away into complete obscurity. ChonkyTomcat (talk) 04:45, 15 May 2026 (UTC)
::Despite my username, I dabble in planes too. I had no idea about the Maverick Bill until your contribution, and now I'm just waiting until it gets passed and I can see some at airshows :) AZenit3 (talk) 05:51, 15 May 2026 (UTC)

Attribution

See Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia ↗. You must provide proper attribution on the new 747 article for the content copied over from the original. It's fairly easy to do. 10mmsocket (talk) 06:28, 3 June 2026 (UTC)

:Thank you for informing me about this! I've already added the attribution on the talk page of the new article. ChonkyTomcat (talk) 06:43, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
