Thank you for all of your help! I just have a couple of questions.

Hi Chris, I have been working on the Bioelectricity Wikipedia page with my colleagues and I really appreciate all the help that you have provided us in making the page more suitable for Wikipedia. We have put in citations in all the places that citations have been requested and also responded to the suggestion to merge with Biomagnetics (which we do not agree with and put our statement in the appropriate talk page a couple of weeks ago). I am wondering if you'd be willing to remove the two tags on the top of the page that indicate the need for the citations (which we have put in) and the suggestion for the merge (which we don't agree with and no one else has added to the conversation)? I really appreciate your help with our efforts to make the field of Bioelectricity more available for the general public to learn about and to hopefully enrich and inspire lives through learning.

Best wishes and many thanks,

Tiadeeharrison (talk) 15:55, 29 May 2018 (EST)

Thanks

Thanks Chris for all your great editing for wiki.

Edit introducing errors, only

For your information, as you may not have noticed: an edit you made ↗ with WP:OAbot ↗ to Orthohantavirus ↗ on 13:33, 5 May 2026 had the sole effect of removing two {{Em|correct}} instances of {{para|doi-access|free}} - I checked that full text of the references was available. Use of a bot requires checking, they're not infallible. In particular, I'd be suspicious of {{Em|removal}} of {{para|doi-access|free}}; addition is less suspicious, but an existing instance will probably have been added by someone who has checked. HTH and best wishes, Pol098 (talk) 11:45, 6 May 2026 (UTC)
:Another one ↗. I'm not checking further. Pol098 (talk) 18:51, 6 May 2026 (UTC)
::@Chris Capoccia I had to correct errors introduced with this edit ↗ (see named reference "geng") and this one ↗ (date of Varga changed, breaking all sfns to that book) to Rabbit ↗ that caused large red errors to appear in the references. Please check the preview before saving! -- <span style="color:#4E8321">Reconrabbit</span> (<span class="skin-invert" style="color:#073131">talk</span>) 13:57, 14 May 2026 (UTC)

Edits generating errors?

Your edit to the article Nudity ↗ made with no edit summary removed valid citation parameters and caused errors. WriterArtistDC (talk) 17:57, 23 June 2026 (UTC)

:Didn't I fix them with CitationBot? or what errors are you talking about? &nbsp;&nbsp;—&nbsp;Chris Capoccia 💬 21:34, 23 June 2026 (UTC)
::I didn't see the fix, but I don't see the point of removing identifiers such as issn and s2cid, which are generated when I import a citation into Zotero ↗. I certainly don't understand the deletion of urls and access-dates, which are useful. WriterArtistDC (talk) 21:46, 23 June 2026 (UTC)
:::There were URLs that duplicate parameters like JSTOR or DOI or are better as parameters like Gale or ProQuest. ISSN only links to the journal in libraries which isn't nearly as useful as identifiers to the specific article/chapter like JSTOR or DOI. S2CID usually duplicates the DOI or lists copyright infringing URLs. &nbsp;&nbsp;—&nbsp;Chris Capoccia 💬 21:58, 23 June 2026 (UTC)

25px|alt=|link= ↗ Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have '''automatically detected''' that this edit ↗ performed by you, on the page :Barbie ↗, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:
