Biographies of living people
Hi there, thanks for creating the Sam Broughton ↗ article. Please be advised that biographies of living people must be referenced. Please review Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons ↗. Sam Broughton ↗
Howdy hello! I wanted to let you know that I have just turned Sam Broughton into a redirect. I'm afraid that most local mayors do not meet our requirements for notability ↗, i.e. aren't well enough written about to have a standalone article. I know it feels bad to have your work undone, so please ask on my talk page if you have any further questions. If you can find 3 more reliable and independent sources that show significant coverage of the subject, please post them on my talk page and I will reconsider the notability of the subject. Smooth sailing, <span style="color:#6a1f7f">'''Captain Eek'''</span> <span style="font-size:82%"><span style="color:#a479e5">''Edits Ho Cap'n!''</span></span>⚓ ↗ 19:25, 13 January 2020 (UTC)
:Hello, that's fine. I can understand that there want much in terms of volume of information for the article. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Cheers. Lord A.Nelson (talk) 00:28, 14 January 2020 (UTC)
::{{ping|CaptainEek}} I concur with the notion above that there wasn't much to that article; hence it wasn't that useful. I suggest, however, that the subject has passed the notability threshold. Over the years, I have seen quite a bit of in-depth reporting. If you are interested in giving this another go, Lord A.Nelson, I suggest that you write this in draft namespace ↗ and I would be willing to give you a hand. I should not write the article myself as it could be argued that I have a conflict of interest ↗. The very first thing would be to have a look around for sources. If enough can be found that is of substance, drafting could begin. '''<span style="color: #000000;">Schwede</span><span style="color: #FF4500;">66</span>''' 03:54, 14 January 2020 (UTC)
:::{{u|Schwede66}}, If a solid draft were created, I'd definitely give it a second look. I have no prejudice against recreation, but such recreation needs appropriate sourcing. Starting in draftspace would be ideal. <span style="color:#6a1f7f">'''CaptainEek'''</span> <span style="font-size:82%"><span style="color:#a479e5">''Edits Ho Cap'n!''</span></span>⚓ ↗ 03:57, 14 January 2020 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on :Catholic Bishops of Aotearoa New Zealand ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Adding unreferenced content
There seems to be a recurring issue with you adding unreferenced content, and even unreferenced articles ↗. That is a serious issue and it has to stop. Consider yourself warned. Wikipedia has just three core content policies, and verifiability ↗ is one of those. I recommend you give that page a read.
If you can't be bothered to add references, Wikipedia isn't the right hobby for you and you need to look for something else. If you carry on like this, you will soon see yourself blocked. If you need help with figuring out how to do something, please ask. Here's good. '''<span style="color: #000000;">Schwede</span><span style="color: #FF4500;">66</span>''' 07:42, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
:Hello. Thank you for your concern. I can understand the importance of referencing and I totally agree with you. In regard with my 'recurring' issue of adding references, I am shocked. Yes, I can think of three notable examples, the first being of Sam Broughton (in which you left a message on my talk page), the second being Malvern Hills, New Zealand and Homebush, New Zealand ↗. The reasoning for the first two examples are: I had not finished the article and secondly in regards to Homebush, the wikitext was copied over from the page of Aylesbury, New Zealand ↗, which too, had no references. If that had not been addressed since December 2006, then surely it wouldn't hurt for Homebush (but learnt how wrong I was later when I read your message). If I do add something significant, I try and find a source, otherwise I leave it or wait till one is created. Your warning is heeded and I will take note. If there are any other examples of me violating a page with unreferenced material, please let me know as I would not liked to be blocked. I look forward to reading your reply. Kind regards, Lord A.Nelson (talk) 09:57, 1 August 2020 (UTC)

Hello, Lord A.Nelson. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation ↗ submission or Draft ↗ page you started, "Malvern Hills ↗".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace ↗, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link ↗. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Interested in meeting other Wikipedians?
Kia ora, with your new user name, it seems you are based in Christchurch. I don't think I knew that before. Are you interested in catching up with other Wikipedians? There are monthyly meetups going on; the template below has the dates. The next one is on 12 May! I won't attend as I've moved to Golden Bay; Heather and Mike are running the show.

I saw the page on one of Bermuda's speakers of the house A.W Bluck, I'm wondering where you got your source since I don't see any references. I'm working on something and this would be a huge help.
