Agreed that this shouldn't be necessary this early, but we get an unceasing parade of people who read only the first sentence, and immediately conclude either stupidity or malice in the article. Reverted edit on similar triangles

Hello, I wanted to ask why you reverted my edit of adding a diagram of similar triangles. I understand you are probably correct as you have a better understanding of math and geometry, I just want to know where I got it wrong (so I won't get it wrong next time!). I thought all all homothetic triangles are similar? And even if it's not homothetic, then the formulas should still apply to similar triangles, or is that wrong? Thank you in advance.
