:Frania: I removed the picture because it is NOT Louise Elisabeth d'Orleans. The portrait represents Louise Elisabeth of France, Duchess of Parma, eldest daughter of Louis XV. I'm completely sure about it since I saw the portrait in the Prado Museum and it is the second lady. That's the reason why I removed it. DanyMountbatten (talk) 12:07, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Hello! Of course "Infanta Margarita Teresa" is more common; it includes books in Spanish! However, only English-language boks are relevant. ::Hi, sorry for my late reply. That depends: if you try "Margarita Teresa of Spain" and "Margaret Theresa of Spain", the first one has more results. If you try "Infanta Margarita Teresa" Spain and "Infanta Margaret Theresa" Spain, still the first one gets more results. Personally, I think it should be Margarita Teresa because: 1) several important academic publications call her like that (although others also use Margaret Theresa, of course); 2)it's easier for an English-speaking person to associate the name "Margarita Teresa" to this little princess than "Margaret Theresa", because in the second case it may be mistaken for another Margaret. She was a Habsburg and married to a Habsburg, an empress of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation. Important academic publications that call her "Margarita Teresa": "The Habsburgs: portrait of a dynasty" by Edward Crankshaw, "Vienna and Versailles: the courts of Europe's dynastic rivals" by Jeroen Duindam, "The glorification of emperor Leopold I in image, spectacle and text" by Maria Goloubeva, "Spain under the Habsburgs: Spain and America 1598-1700" by John Lynch, "Die Frauen der Habsburger" by Hellmut Andics, just to name a few. Yes, she was a Habsburg but a Spanish Habsburg married to an Austrian Habsburg. Her name in Spanish is Margarita, that's how she was called in her lifetime and that's how she was referred to in contemporary letters. In fact her name was '''Margarita Maria''', not Margarita Teresa, but later authors started to call her like that (I don't know why). Another fact is that sometimes she is called simply Margarita, without Teresa or Maria. I understand that you would prefer the English version of her name, that's fine but then we would have to change all the names of royalty into English (and many of them are known by their names in their original language).
