Alexios III

Hi! I’m doing research which includes Alexios III Megas Komnenos. Our libraries and databases, however, miss ''Actes de Vazélon. Matériaux'' etc. I’ve seen you cite it for cognomina triumphalis, would you be able to share it with me or point me to the direction of where you got it?

:My DM seems to not have gone through so I'm replying here. I use the Thesaurus Lingua Graecae ↗ to access the Acts. However you will need a subscription to the site to do so, which are provided for free by many universities but otherwise you will have to pay. If you don't have access I'd be happy to send you the text of the documents from Alexios III's reign, so email me here on wikipedia for that.
:I also believe there are other books/articles which individually preserve some of the documents from his reign. For instance the 1386 Chrysobull can be found from page 159 here ↗.

New Rome, Old Rome, and Germany shortly before the First Princes′ Crusade

Hi, me again! Hope you are doing well. I am cooperating on a paper that will look at the 1075-1094 trilateral relations between German ruler Henry IV of the Salians, papacy (Clement III, Gregory VII, Urban II), and New Rome. We intend to show how interconnected and related the Western Investiture Crisis and the slow Eastern steps towards reaching any compromise with the West in order to fight Normans/Seljuks were related and basically sides of the same coin. That is where I turn to you. I have read lots of primary sources and secondary scholarship to reach my conclusions. Still, I am a single person. If you believe theres an underrated aspect of this topic that isnt usually included in the debate (or something along these lines), I will be glad to hear it.
