Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Madison District Public Schools ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Madison High School ↗. Such links are usually incorrect ↗, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. <small>(Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.)</small>

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:54, 5 February 2025 (UTC)

Hi Deepsnowi80 I seen you took off the board of Education members and The band Info I used to go to that district growing up. And Why did you removed the Board? I did put I refrence on the Talk page there. Thanks And Looking forward hearing from you.2600:1004:A032:64B0:55D7:588E:D0A5:5E64 ↗ (talk) 2600:1004:A032:64B0:55D7:588E:D0A5:5E64 ↗ (talk) 21:01, 10 April 2025 (UTC)

:I am attempting to bring the article in line with Wikipedia policies and quality standards. The sentence about bands- those references do not meet standards because they are not formatted correctly and I eliminated for conciseness because it wasn't notable. The board member section is not notable, uncited on the main page, and shows a bias to present day. Does the list include every board member that ever was in the history of the district? Or are you only including the "former" ones that you know about? References must be easy to find and on the main page. Please familiarize yourself with Wikipedia standards. Let's make the article reflect well on the school district. Deepsnowi80 (talk) 22:02, 10 April 2025 (UTC)
::Ya the Board members are on the Talk page. And I used to Be in Band and Marching band in that District. And I was in the Radio/TV Program And The MICI Program.2600:1004:A032:64B0:D8E3:7C24:781E:64DC ↗ (talk) 2600:1004:A032:64B0:D8E3:7C24:781E:64DC ↗ (talk) 22:27, 10 April 2025 (UTC)

Citation suggestions

I've noticed in your editing that you list the name of a newspaper in the {{para|publisher}} parameter in {{tl|cite news}}. That's not really the right way to handle that, and you should be using {{para|newspaper}} instead. Also, you don't need to include the location of a newspaper unless the name of the paper doesn't include it. Near me, I'd use {{para|newspaper|The Mining Journal}} {{para|location|Marquette, Michigan}} (yes, the state name should be spelled out), but just {{para|newspaper|Cheboygan Daily Tribune}}. The citation templates have hidden metadata included in the output, and when we use the correct parameters the results have the right metadata and the right formatting. <span style="background:#006B54; padding:2px;">'''<span style="color:white;">Imzadi&nbsp;1979</span>&nbsp;<span style="color:white;"><big>→</big></span>'''</span> 19:41, 27 June 2026 (UTC)

:Thanks for the info. So to clarify, newspaper= Bay City Times| is acceptable and we don't need to specify that this isn't Bay City, Texas (it is inferred). But newspaper= Times-Herald| would take an extra parameter, location= Port Huron, Michigan| ? Deepsnowi80 (talk) 20:14, 27 June 2026 (UTC)
::Yes, that's correct. There are multiple papers called just ''The Times'', so the location is needed to differentiate, but there's only one ''Bay City Times'', even though there may be multiple cities with the same name. (Also, the usual convention is to attach the pipe character, "|", in front of the parameter name and not attach it to the input value.) <span style="background:#006B54; padding:2px;">'''<span style="color:white;">Imzadi&nbsp;1979</span>&nbsp;<span style="color:white;"><big>→</big></span>'''</span> 20:38, 27 June 2026 (UTC)
