Today's song is based on the same Psalm 100 ↗ as Jubilate Deo ↗, a quite opulent setting in 7 languages (and musical styles) that one friend who listened to our concert described simply as the best concert he ever heard. -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:09, 12 June 2026 (UTC)

:: read the article ;) (which should be better, but I have too many other things going on, and the RMF will open next weekend, meaning a house full of guests again) - Yesterday was the former German Unity Day, installed when unity was just a dream. I had a story to match, and today, it's another one, with music by Bach ↗ and Mendelssohn ↗ to match, - a DYK hook 15 years ago, which seems like from a different world. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:56, 18 June 2026 (UTC)

congrats about the NY Times mention, i guess

Hiya there -- just wanna mention that your username got mentioned in a NY Times article ↗ about Wikipedia's future and the new CEO. Just thought you'd like to know!

take care! '''''D.A.S.C.''''' Talk to me! 17:51, 5 July 2026 (UTC)

:It is interesting how of all of the editors here the journalist Tiffany Hsu picked me, but she doesn't seem to know much about what editors actually do, there aren't even nearly 250,000 unpaid strangers editing 324 times a year let alone a minute. I don't think even the great Ser Amantio can do 324 edits in 10 minutes! It is a tiny percentage of the 250,000 active editors who consistently come up with the goods, and nobody is editing that much! ♦ <span style="font-variant:small-caps;color:#aba67e">''Dr. Blofeld''</span> 19:27, 5 July 2026 (UTC)
