:Thanks for the article! :) Ovinus (talk) 02:21, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
::of course! Mind if I ask a question?
::How exactly am I supposed to go about adding album covers to infoboxes again? I know to upload the file to wikimedia commons, and how non-free covers can still be used when there’s no substitute and a valid reason for having them, but when I try to upload a file into an infobox, it asks me to check off a box saying I have the rights to the picture, which obviously in these cases I don’t. However, there’s obviously gotta be a legitimate way to upload album covers into articles since the vast majority of album articles do have them. Am I missing something? Thanks! Elephantranges (talk) 02:24, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
:::Good question. Don't upload non-free images to ''Wikimedia Commons'', as they aren't allowed there; instead, upload them here, on Wikipedia. See Wikipedia:File Upload Wizard ↗ and click the white "Upload a non-free file" button, and follow the steps there. Unlike Commons, Wikipedia accepts limited use of non-free files. If you're curious about the nitty gritty, WP:NFCC ↗ lists the rules, but an album cover is usually okay. Hope that helps! Ovinus (talk) 02:55, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
{{ping|Ovinus}} I might have meant Wikipedia, not Wikipedia Commons. Not sure, but I’ll use those links. Thanks! Elephantranges (talk) 03:35, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
:{{ping|Ovinus}} Hey, sorry, one more question.
:So I uploaded images for the covers of Ghosts of the Forest, Lonely Trip ↗, and Mercy ↗, everything went well except when I added them to the infobox, they're a bit too big and I'm not exactly sure how to make them appear smaller in their respective articles. Checked the source for other articles to see what they did differently but found nothing. Any help would be appreciated, thanks! Elephantranges (talk) 04:10, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
:Nevermind, realized I just have to remove the ↗ surrounding the file name. Elephantranges (talk) 04:18, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
::Cool. Yes, the template does some internal processing that means the brackets aren't necessary. And no need to apologize for asking questions! Ovinus (talk) 04:20, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
:::Thanks for the help! Elephantranges (talk) 04:22, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
:::Hi, I have another question about album art images.
:::So I went through a couple of articles recently and replaced their (very low quality) album art images with some higher resolution ones, using the wizard and doing everything the right way (as far as I can tell).
:::The new images are showing in the infoboxes, but why is it that when I click on them to zoom in, it then shows the older, lower-quality versions of the images? And is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks Elephantranges (talk) 23:29, 31 May 2023 (UTC)
Article renames, etc.
Greetings, Elephantranges! Thank you for your recent work on Grateful Dead album articles, including ''Infrared Roses'' among others. Also... For any really major changes to those articles -- for example, renaming them -- I would encourage you to start a discussion first, to see what other editors think. With that being said, I have to admit that your recent renaming of the ''View from the Vault'' articles does seem good to me, and I don't think anyone would have objected to that. Anyway, thanks again. {{emoji|1f480}} {{emoji|1f339}} {{emoji|1f642}} <span style="font-family: cursive;">— Mudwater<small> (Talk)</small></span> 16:40, 23 June 2026 (UTC)
:Thank you! And yeah, in most cases I would have created a discussion, I just wasn't sure how necessary it'd be in that specific case since it'd have required four different discussions on a topic that most people probably wouldn't think twice about. Elephantranges (talk) 16:36, 24 June 2026 (UTC)
Grateful Dead songs
Greetings, Elephantranges! Thank you for your recent work on creating articles for Grateful Dead songs. Those are all quite nice.
Although you have not asked my opinion -- and I admit this is rather subjective -- I would say that the best-known Grateful Dead songs that do not yet have their own articles are "U.S. Blues", "Help on the Way", and "Attics of My Life". {{smiley}} <span style="font-family: cursive;">— Mudwater<small> (Talk)</small></span> 19:33, 9 July 2026 (UTC)
:Thank you very much! And I appreciate the suggestions. "Help on the Way" was one that I'd been thinking about tackling next, but there unfortunately seems to be a (surprisingly) low amount of independent sources which discuss the track. Maybe the other two will fare better, I'll have to take a look. Thanks again! Elephantranges (talk) 19:50, 9 July 2026 (UTC)
::I also have created some Grateful Dead ↗ song articles. Which include "The Golden Road (To Unlimited Devotion) ↗", "New Speedway Boogie ↗" "Franklin's Tower ↗", "Hell in a Bucket ↗" and "Foolish Heart ↗". Newtatoryd222 (talk) 02:13, 11 July 2026 (UTC)
