Football infobox live update

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I just wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions ↗ were not quite right. Please only update statistics within the infobox ↗ of a footballer once the match the player was involved in has concluded. This is to help avoid the stats being updated again by another editor once the match has finished, and to avoid having to undo the update in the eventuality that the match is abandoned.

If you have any questions about this, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page ↗. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 18:47, 29 December 2024 (UTC)

:Hello. I am well aware of this policy and respect it. During the game I only update the stats of players that have been replaced or sent off, so they have no chance of influencing the game further. I always update the date and time to make it explicit enough. Enricoashton (talk) 18:54, 29 December 2024 (UTC)

Piping

Please do not introduce unnecessary piping as you did herehttps://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Prince_Edward,_Duke_of_Edinburgh&diff=prev&oldid=1267561539 ↗https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Prince_Andrew,_Duke_of_York&diff=prev&oldid=1267504858 ↗. Such edits are deprecated per WP:NOPIPE ↗ and WP:DONOTFIXIT ↗. DrKay (talk) 18:15, 5 January 2025 (UTC)

:Could you '''please stop''', the same thing at The Hobbit ↗.... The practice is deprecated, ie it is unhelpful, unnecessary and wrong. To be clear, when there is a working link that uses an old name, synonym, or other redirect, DO NOT ADD A PIPE. Chiswick Chap (talk) 04:36, 11 February 2025 (UTC)

February 2025

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Please refrain from making unconstructive edits such as adding unnecessary pipes to avoid redirects, as you did at :The Lord of the Rings ↗. Your edits appear to be disruptive ↗ and have been or will be reverted ↗.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges ↗. Enrico, could you please stop your disruptive edits. When a link is already correct (even via a redirect), it is *unhelpful* to change it, and directly contra to written Wikipedia policy. You have now been warned about this repeatedly, and reverted for it by multiple editors. Please accept that this behaviour is not welcome on Wikipedia. Thank you.<!-- Template:uw-disruptive2 --> Chiswick Chap (talk) 13:02, 12 February 2025 (UTC)

Flags in navboxes

Please do not add flags to navboxes like you did at Template:Current heads of government ↗ per MOS:FLAG ↗, WP:NAVDECOR ↗, etc. '''--<span style="background:yellow; color:red;;">wooden</span><span style="background:yellow; color:blue;;">superman</span>''' 10:27, 11 March 2025 (UTC)

:It may be marginally misaligned with the rules but it is so much more pleasing visually to have flags. Go ahead, apply your rules and make this website as dull as a bowl of gruel. Enricoashton (talk) 11:01, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
::It looks hideous, and if you aren't familiar with a country's flag, how would you know which country it represents? '''--<span style="background:yellow; color:red;;">wooden</span><span style="background:yellow; color:blue;;">superman</span>''' 11:04, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
:::Pointing at the flag shows the country's name Enricoashton (talk) 12:51, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
::::MOS:WORDPRECEDENCE ↗: {{tq|Words as the primary means of communication should be given greater precedence over flags}} '''--<span style="background:yellow; color:red;;">wooden</span><span style="background:yellow; color:blue;;">superman</span>''' 13:20, 11 March 2025 (UTC)

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources ↗ to verify ↗ information, especially about living people ↗. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Timothy Weah ↗ article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 17:49, 6 August 2025 (UTC)

:Hi. My source is the club's Twitter page https://x.com/om_officiel where the player is photographed with the jersey. Enricoashton (talk) 18:39, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
