Professional articles

I think you understand that no one will write high-quality articles for free.

You can demonstrate this yourself by rewriting GS1 DataBar Coupon ↗ to match the quality of MicroPDF417 ↗, using the following official documentation:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1mYi1FWCoFrEGvuEAG5nrLVOgNzZ2ZX2B

Because the current article contains more hallucinations than my LLMs produce even at a temperature of 2.0. For example, the standard was released in 2006:
https://www.iso.org/standard/38834.html

However, the article states:
"The GS1 DataBar Coupon code has been in use in the retail industry since the mid-1980s." Alexandr.gavriluk (talk) 22:36, 22 March 2026 (UTC)

:And GS1 DataBar Coupon is combination of GS1 DataBar + EAN13/UPCA

Better open alternatives

Do you want Han Xin code alternatives?
It is simple, you can take zint barcode library, write wrapper and host it
https://github.com/zint/zint/blob/master/backend/hanxin.c

However:
/* Note Unicode, GS1 and URI modes not implemented */

But there is not any non-commercial Han Xin code reader. Alexandr.gavriluk (talk) 01:24, 23 March 2026 (UTC)

MicroPDF417 generation/recognition

Additionally you can find open engine for free MicroPDF417 ↗ generation and recognition. Alexandr.gavriluk (talk) 06:06, 23 March 2026 (UTC)

DRN Request for Training

Hi @Eyesinthefire, I saw you had an ongoing case on the DRN notice board, and was wondering if I could join just to watch/observe, and generally assist. I'm still learning about DRN, and would be honored if you could include me. Also, the birds on your user page are beautiful. Skyeteam (talk) 17:52, 14 April 2026 (UTC)

:Hi Skyeteam! You're welcome to, but it's about to close, I don't think me or the other participants have further concerns for the moderator.
:They are beautiful in their own fashion, aren't they? The adult Green Heron is a lot less muppety. (probably my favorite Commons filename, too)thumb|none ↗ Eyesinthefire (talk) 18:13, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
::thumb ↗
::@Eyesinthefire The zenith of evolution. Thanks for welcoming me. If its almost over, I'd still be happy to join/observe any future moderation. And another question about the wording; Are you a participant or a moderator?---- Skyeteam (talk) 13:44, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
:::I'm a participant and don't imagine I'll be part of any DR cases in the near future. In any case, as a participant it would be weird to ask for a specific moderator/volunteer.
:::You can see who is a participant versus a moderator in the DRN interface - everyone in the "Users involved" is a participant, the moderator is the person responding in the "statement by possible moderator" sections.
:::Eyesinthefire (talk) 00:13, 18 April 2026 (UTC)
::::Yes, I realize my mistake. Thanks anyway! Skyeteam (talk) 13:01, 27 April 2026 (UTC)

:Linux ↗ has an RfC ↗

<div class="floatleft" style="margin-bottom:0">48px|alt=icon ↗</div>''':Linux ↗''' has an RfC for possible consensus. A discussion is taking place. Thank you

i just wanted to say thank you for your input too the Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dn42 ↗ discussion, seeing how chaotic the debate was previously, having somebody who was able to ask the relevant GNG questions in an unbiased way and respond in a constructive manner helped alot Popeter45 (talk) 17:48, 9 July 2026 (UTC)
