25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello. I have noticed that you {{usertalk other|often ↗|often}} edit without using an edit summary ↗. Please do your best to '''always fill in the summary field'''. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences ↗. Thanks! <!-- Template:Uw-editsummary2 --> Skitash (talk) 22:27, 19 February 2025 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia ↗! Thank you for your contributions ↗; however, ''please'' remember the essential rule of respecting copyright ↗s. '''Edits to Wikipedia, such as your edit to the page :1920 Revolution Brigades ↗, may not contain material from copyrighted sources unless that text is available under a suitable free license ↗.''' It is almost never okay to copy extensive text out of a book or website and paste it into a Wikipedia article with little or no alteration, though you ''can'' clearly and briefly quote copyrighted text in the right circumstances. Content that does not comply with this legal rule must be removed. For more information on this, see:

Hi Farcazo,<br>
I've noticed that we tend to edit similar pages, and I would like to commend you on the amount of images you add to articles. 25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello! Thank you for your efforts to improve Wikipedia, and in particular for adding references, as you did to Harakat al-Abdal ↗! However, adding a bare URL ↗ is not ideal, and exposes the reference to link rot ↗. It is preferable to use proper citation templates ↗ when citing sources ↗, including details such as title, author, date, and any other information necessary for a bibliographic citation ↗. Here's an example of a full citation using the {{tl|cite web}} template to cite a web page:
: <syntaxhighlight lang="wikitext">Lorem ipsum<ref>{{cite web |title=Download the Scanning Software - Windows and Mac |publisher=Canon Inc |work=Ask a Question |date=2022 |url=https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART174839 |access-date=2022-04-02}}</ref> dolor sit amet.</syntaxhighlight>
which displays ''inline ↗'' in the running text of the article as:
:Lorem ipsum{{fake ref|1}} dolor sit amet.
and displays under '''References''' as:
#^ Download the Scanning Software - Windows and Mac ↗". ''Ask a Question''. Canon Inc. 2022. Retrieved 2022-04-02.
If you've already added one or more bare URLs to an article, there are tools available to expand them into full citations: in the wikitext editor ↗, try the reFill tool ↗, and in the Visual Editor ↗, the reference dialog ↗ can convert some bare urls into a full citation.

{{od}} You're welcome! I have some more tips for you:
# Never copy-paste text from external websites, as you did for example on Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror Brigade ↗ with sentences like {{tq|It merged into the Sultan Murad Division in 2015 but left some time later. Reportedly responsible for the torture of a man trying to flee to YPG-held territory.}} from https://docs.google.com/document/d/1aI3yAmNGW1vLpJCOrhiVLqpUUIX9PG1RNsCqJGGfhxI/mobilebasic ↗; you could get banned for that, despite we appreciate you as contributor;
# Only use {{code|<br>}} tags inside infoboxes and tables, not inside the article text itself;
# When possible, try to avoid links to disambiguation pages; for example, you may link Syrian Turkmen ↗ instead of generic Turkmen ↗.
# We call the country Turkey ↗, not {{tq|Türkiye}}.
— Est. 2021 (talk <b>·</b> contribs) 01:18, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
:1. Yes, I understand that I can be expelled for copyright
:2. I use < br > to separate sentences
:3. I understand, the use of generic words is wrong, but no source says that he is a Syrian Turkmen and emphasizes that he is financed by Turkey
:4. The word Turkey is used by several people but they changed it to "Türkiye", I understand I will use "Turkey" from now on. Farcazo (talk) 01:46, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines ↗ in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test ↗ Wikipedia. Hi,
I recall seeing someone adding entries for Jabhat Ansar Al-Sham ↗, etc. to a related article (maybe 2024 Syrian opposition offensives ↗ a few months ago. It seems suspicious, at the very least, that someone created an article that seems to be entirely made up.

:This is not to make accusations in bad faith but I think it is a conspiracy by Abu Omar al Shami, Papuagunnie, Syrianknowitall Because they uploaded false things about the group and flags that have been removed or are still to be removed. Farcazo (talk) 01:03, 23 June 2025 (UTC)
