May 2026

Just to say a huge thank you for everything that you do here on Wikipedia. I know if I see your name on an edit, it will always be well written, relevant and properly cited. I don’t know if you are a Southampton supporter but if so you have my sympathy for all the crap that’s happening and all that’s coming out of the woodwork. It makes every thing that we’ve got excited about over the last 6 months seem so hollow and rather pointless. From a supporter for over 60 years and a season ticket holder for over 40 years. I am indeed a Southampton supporter, and I have to say from living memory this has to be the lowest point I personally have experienced – and I was there that night in 2019 when Leicester beat us 9–0. Being a season ticket holder last season was fairly rough, but being a season ticket holder this season now feels worse because, as you correctly put it, it feels rather pointless.
