Disambiguation link notification for February 6
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Photomontage ↗, a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kansuke Yamamoto ↗ was added. Such links are usually incorrect ↗, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. <small>(Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.)</small>
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 20:00, 6 February 2026 (UTC)
Snapshot (photography)
Your addition to Snapshot (photography) ↗ leads to the interesting topic of Shinkō shashin, but it seems to lack a clear connection to snapshot photography, which is charaterised as spontaneously and quickly shot in the lead section of the page. The comparison to Neue Sachlichkeit along with emphasis on sharp detail and perspective actually suggest opposite qualities.
I couln't find any other logic to include it on the page from the cited source or anywhere else. Can you? And if so, cculd you then please adjust your text accordingly? Or can you please delete it if you no longer recognise the connection either? I think your similar addition to New Objectivity ↗ is great and personally appreciate that you drew attention to the topic, but as it is, it seems out of place [at the snapshot page].
Thanks, Joortje1 (talk) 09:08, 7 February 2026 (UTC)
:Thanks for the careful review. I agree the connection to snapshot photography isn’t clearly supported by the cited source and the comparison risks implying opposite qualities. I’ve removed the Shinkō shashin mention from the Snapshot article. I’ll look for more appropriate placement (e.g., a New Photography / Shinkō shashin context) if reliable sources explicitly discuss a snapshot-like lineage. Fontana2026 (talk) 10:34, 7 February 2026 (UTC)
::Thanks for understanding and your swift response + action. I'm looking forward to further contributions! Joortje1 (talk) 11:05, 7 February 2026 (UTC)
Quotes/apostrophes
Please remember that en.wiki only uses straight quotes/apostrophes, not "curly" or "slanted" (see MOS:APOSTROPHE ↗ and the section below it on quote marks). I've fixed the curly ones you introduced into Yoru no Funsui ↗. <span style="color: green">'''''Pam'''''</span><span style="color: brown">'''''D'''''</span> 08:42, 13 February 2026 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to :Seikō Samizo ↗ when you modified the page, you introduced {{cl|Unknown parameters|unknown parameters}}. Just because you specify {{para|some_param|{{var|some_variable}}}} does not always mean that variable will display. The {{para|some_param}} must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview ↗ button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a '''Show preview''' button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history ↗ of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk ↗ for assistance.
Thank you.<!-- User:Zackmann08/uw/Unknown-params-warning --> '''<span style="color:#00d5ff">Zack</span><span style="color:#007F94">mann</span>''' (<sup>Talk to me ↗</sup>/<sub><span style="color:orange">What I been doing</span> ↗</sub>) 15:42, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
:Thank you very much for the note and for fixing the issue. Sorry for introducing an unknown parameter in the template. I understand the problem, and I'll make sure to check the template documentation more carefully and use preview before saving future edits. I appreciate the help. 25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm Gurkubondinn. An edit that you recently made to :Surrealist photography ↗ seemed to be generated using a large language model ↗ (an "AI chatbot ↗" or other application using such technology).
