A question about Sudan

I have a question regarding the National Front and I figured that you could know the answer as you are pretty knowledgeable about Sudanese politics. Is there a difference between the National Front and national Islamic Front? I have read wuite a few boks on Sudan but they haven't brought me any closer to the answer....

:The National Islamic Front ↗ (NIF) was an Islamist ↗ political organization founded in 1976 and led by Dr. Hassan al-Turabi ↗, and was proceeded by the National Congress Party ↗.
:The National Front (NF) on the other hand was a political party founded by collation between Sadiq al Mahdi ↗ (National Umma Party ↗) and Sharif Hussein al-Hindi (Democratic Unionist Party ↗) after both parties were banned following the Nimri's 1969 coup d'état ↗. I just wrote the article on the National Council for Press and Publication (Sudan) ↗ but I was thinking if you would check it out for any kind of problems or inaccuracies. I can't speak or read Arabic but I'm guessing you can so if you find any good Arabic sources concerning this you can add them too
