Editing related to the Arab-Israeli conflict
Introduction to contentious topics
{{ivmbox | image = Commons-emblem-notice.svg |imagesize=50px | bg = #E5F8FF | text = You have recently edited a page related to '''the Arab–Israeli conflict ↗''', a topic designated as '''contentious ↗'''. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and <em>does <strong>not</strong> imply that there are any issues with your editing</em>.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as ''contentious topics''. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit <strong>carefully</strong> and <strong>constructively</strong>, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
<p>Additionally, you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days ↗, and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.</p><p>Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics ''procedures'' you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard ↗ or you may learn more about this contentious topic here ↗. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{tl|Ctopics/aware}} template. </p>}}<!-- Derived from Template:Contentious topics/alert/first -->

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines ↗ in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test ↗ Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page ↗ to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Proposed deletion ↗ of :Clashes in Brussels on May 4 and 5, 2025 ↗
left|link=|alt=Notice|48px| ↗
The article :Clashes in Brussels on May 4 and 5, 2025 ↗ has been proposed for deletion ↗ because of the following concern:
<blockquote>'''WP:NOTNEWS ↗, racist and violent football-related riots which happen sadly quite often. Can perhaps be a short paragraph in some other article, don't know where though, but not enough to be a separate article.'''</blockquote>
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons ↗.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary ↗ or on the article's talk page ↗.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process ↗, but other deletion process ↗es exist. In particular, the speedy deletion ↗ process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion ↗ allows discussion to reach consensus ↗ for deletion.<!-- Template:Proposed deletion notify --> Fram (talk) 11:49, 12 May 2025 (UTC)

Chœur Montjoie Saint-Denis ↗ moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Chœur Montjoie Saint-Denis ↗. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because '''it needs more sources to establish notability''' and '''it appears many of the sources currently supporting the article are blogs or do not have an established reputation for fact-checking. It is also possible that some sources do not give significant coverage to this choir'''.
I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page ↗.
When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Boynamedsue (talk) 16:00, 28 March 2026 (UTC)

::go for it. actually, i went ahead and added it back in. technically, anybody can revert, doesn't necessarily mean they have to or will revert.{{pb}}but yeah, even minor edits are covered by the restriction until you hit 500. just a friendly warning.<br> use WP:EDITREQUEST ↗ next time User:Bluethricecreamman <span style="font-size: 85%;">(Talk·Contribs ↗)</span> 18:16, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
:::thank you. actually, I found out that I wasn't allowed to edit pages marked as "CT" when I tried to add a... logo! to the Palestine Action page. I thought that, since Palestine Writes isn't a figure involved in the Arab-Israeli conflict, it wouldn't be affected, but apparently I was wrong. I've made 18k edits on the French Wikipedia, so it's a little disconcerting for me not to be able to edit however I want haha. GloBoy93 (talk) 18:31, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
