:You've asked for more information on Sfan00 IMG's talk page. As he is on a wikibreak ↗ right now, I figured I'd respond, since I stumbled on your question.

:Based on where it was listed, it looks to me like the file was deleted because you marked it as a free file when it wasn't one. With fair use, you must choose an appropriate license, and you must indicate why it is fair use. I would discuss the matter with the admin who deleted the file, just to be sure. His name is TLSuda ↗.

:I personally think it is possibly fair use, assuming the article actually discusses the subject of combining the cartridges. You could argue your image was being used to illustrate how that works.
