Montreal Canadiens roster
Hey Orange,
I see that you frequently update various Montreal Canadiens ↗ wiki pages. It looks like there may be a slight typo under the roster section ↗ of the main page.
As you probably know, David Reinbacher ↗ wears #64 with the team and not #36 as listed.
Is this something you might be able to change as an extended confirmed user?
Thanks! ~2026-23198-78 ↗ (talk) 17:59, 14 April 2026 (UTC)

Wikipedia and copyright
30px|alt=Control copyright icon ↗ Hello HalfOfAnOrange! Your additions to :Stadio Renzo Barbera ↗ have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted ↗ content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain ↗ or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible ↗ copyright license—''to request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission ↗''. While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright ↗ and plagiarism ↗ issues. Here are the key points:
- '''Limited quotation:''' You may only copy or translate a ''small'' portion of a source. Any direct quotations ↗ must be enclosed in double quotation mark ↗s (") and properly cited using an inline citation ↗. More information is available on the non-free content page ↗. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners ↗.
- '''Paraphrasing:''' Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information ''in your own words''. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues ↗ and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing ↗. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources ↗ as appropriate.
- '''Image use guidelines:''' In most scenarios, only freely licensed ↗ or public domain ↗ images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons ↗. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria ↗; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide ↗ may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- '''Copyrighted material donation:''' If ''you'' hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you ''may'' be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials ↗.
- '''Copying and translation within Wikipedia:''' Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia ↗. For translation, see {{section link|Help:Translation|Licensing}}.
Deleting information
25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm Dragonhawk12. I noticed that you recently removed content ↗ without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary ↗. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page ↗. Thanks.<!-- Template:uw-delete1 --> Dragonhawk12 (talk) (Guestbook) (Wikicats) 05:49, 15 May 2026 (UTC)

Sourcing
Thanks for your updates to Garden Grove chemical leak ↗. As per several of your additions which were added without a source (1 ↗, 2 ↗), I'd like to remind you of guidelines on sourcing ↗ and original research ↗. Anything you add to an article must be based on and a include a citation to what is said by a reliable ↗ source. Even if you know something is true (WP:NOTTRUTH ↗), if no RS exists, it's probably not due ↗ for inclusion.
In the case of the article, secondary ↗ sources are preferred to establish that a fact is due for inclusion. Otherwise, nothing is stopping anyone from adding every single organization, group, or company who vaguely breathed in the general direction (WP:INDISCRIMINATE ↗). Thanks. Want to join Wiki Loves Fútbol?
frameless|right|140px ↗
You are invited to participate in '''Wiki Loves Fútbol ↗'''! We're running it during the 2026 World Cup, starting now until July 19. Help us edit pages on everything futbol: think national teams from across Latin America, players, host cities, and the stuff around the cup that usually gets short shrift, like the immigration and culture angles. We're working in both English and Spanish.
Here's the fun part: it's set up like a Panini sticker album. You collect stamps for different kinds of contributions: editing an article, adding a photo over on '''Wikimedia Commons ↗''', doing a translation, or starting a Wikidata item. Fill the album first to win $200. That’s not all: we are also giving out $25 prizes to the “Player of the Match” every week the contest runs. You don't have to be a power editor to play. Everyone is welcome!
If you're a little curious, come take a look at our target articles ↗. Do you think we are missing some good articles? We are open to suggestions!
The best place to actually get going is our '''WikiLatinos Discord ↗''', that's where the article missions will live, where the leaderboard is, and where someone can point you to a good first edit if you want one.
Hope you'll jump in. Oscar_. (talk) 19:13, 10 June 2026 (UTC)
