Phoenix serial shooter case

@Haunted Spy, it's Nelson. Long time no see, I want to ask you about the 2015 Phoenix serial shooter case ↗ in Arizona, which I am thinking of creating in the near future. I see that there are significant coverage and attention that made it worthy to be put on wikipedia, even though no conviction has yet to be secured for the main suspect Aaron Saucedo (who will be standing trial likely in December 2025). I would like to know if this can fit the criteria, because cases with no conviction secured (unless it was an unsolved case and also very notable) tend to get deleted or redirected, which seem to giving the impression of some very high tier criteria for it to pass the required level of notability. NelsonLee20042020 (talk) 12:31, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
:{{replyto|NelsonLee20042020}} Hey! To be on the safer side, I'd wait until the trial is over because there's a possibility that the page might get deleted. I'm unsure why the original page was deleted in the first place, but whatever the reason is, I'd wait if I were you. Plenty of other articles you can write (or update) in the meantime. Haunted Spy (talk) 12:34, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
::@Haunted Spy, no problem. Thanks for the advice. Your hard work in making so many serial killer articles is really inspiring and heartening. Thank you for the edit on Stephen Corey Bryant ↗ too. NelsonLee20042020 (talk) 12:39, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
::@Haunted Spy, I see your sandbox about the serial killer Marion Albert Pruett ↗. I saw that article and thought it should be expanded and rewritten, which I assume is why you previously had it in your sandbox. Should we consider shift it into draft space and rewrite it? NelsonLee20042020 (talk) 12:41, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
:::Pruett's article is one of several I've had my sights on to improve for quite a while, but I gave up on doing it for now, predominantly due to lack of time and burnout on writing. If you're up to take a crack at it, be my guest - I'm more than willing to share my sources from Newspapers.com to help you out. Haunted Spy (talk) 12:45, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
::::@Haunted Spy, sure, thanks for the reply. NelsonLee20042020 (talk) 13:38, 30 October 2025 (UTC)

Correction

Haunted Spy - it’s my first time sending a message - please excuse any format or protocol mistakes.

I am the grandchild of one of the victims of a spree killer you documented, and have a small (but significant) factual correction. How should I proceed? MANY THANKS — Preceding unsigned ↗ comment added by ~2026-20039-59 ↗ (talk) 13:38, 31 March 2026 (UTC)
:{{replyto|~2026-20039-59}} Hello. You're free to make the correction yourself if you want to, just keep in mind that due to the site's rules requiring reliable sources it may be labeled as needing a secondary source or outright deleted.
Hope you have a wonderful day, and sorry for your loss. Draft:Richard Valenti

@Haunted Spy, it's me, Nelson. I am currently editing a draft article of Richard Valenti ↗ (1943–2020), a South Carolina serial killer who was sentenced to life for two murders of teenage girls and also confessed to killing a third girl. You are welcome to edit it too if you want to join, and I hope to use some of your clippings about Valenti for the article too (I found them in the newspapers.com while I was doing source hunting). NelsonLee20042020 (talk) 05:39, 3 April 2026 (UTC)
:{{replyto|NelsonLee20042020}} Hey Nelson, I'm going to have some free time in the coming few days so I'll be able to chime in and help out if needed. You're also free to use my clippings, I can link you whatever you need if necessary. Haunted Spy (talk) 12:26, 3 April 2026 (UTC)
::@Haunted Spy, thank you. You are also free to edit too when I move the article to main space. NelsonLee20042020 (talk) 12:45, 3 April 2026 (UTC)
