Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page :Campaign song ↗ has been reverted.<br />Your edit here ↗ to Campaign song ↗ was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline ↗. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. 25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm UncleBubba. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, :Watergate scandal ↗, but you didn't provide a reliable source ↗. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. ''Changing the date is not a good idea. Proposed deletion ↗ of :2020 Riverside, California mayoral election ↗

left|link=|alt=Notice|48px| ↗

The article :2020 Riverside, California mayoral election ↗ has been proposed for deletion ↗&#32;because of the following concern:
<blockquote>'''Nothing about this particular election appears to be notable.'''</blockquote>

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons ↗.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary ↗ or on the article's talk page ↗.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process ↗, but other deletion process ↗es exist. In particular, the speedy deletion ↗ process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion ↗ allows discussion to reach consensus ↗ for deletion.<!-- Template:Proposed deletion notify --> '''<span style="color:#536895;">Onel</span><span style="color:#ffb300;">5969</span>''' <i style="color:blue">TT me</i> 15:15, 24 February 2021 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Welcome to Wikipedia ↗. We appreciate your contributions ↗, but in one of your recent edits&nbsp;to :Gavin Newsom ↗, it appears that you have added original research ↗, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say ↗. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source ↗ for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources ↗. Republican & Democratic vice presidential selection pages

I've been trying to find this discussion that supposedly ended in a consensus to ''delete'' lead images & infoboxes from the Republican & Democratic vice presidential candidate selection pages. But, I couldn't find any. Therefore, I've restored the images. GoodDay (talk) 04:07, 27 August 2022 (UTC)

Thank you very much. This is an issue that I have had to deal with for months and I’m glad it has finally come to a close HistorianL (talk) 16:27, 27 August 2022 (UTC)

2024 Primary Candidates

I don’t understand why Vivek Ramaswamy isn’t considered a major candidate when he meets the stated threshold of receiving substantial media coverage. He announced on Tucker Carlson Tonight which is the highest rated cable news show in the country, with his announcement being covered by literally every single major media outlet including CNN, WaPo, NYT, WSJ, Bloomberg, Axios, and a Fox News article declaring him the third major candidate in the GOP primary. I’m not a supporter of Vivek nor am I even close to being a Republican but as a political junkie it’s obvious that Vivek is a major candidate and not labeling him as such until he’s included in five national polls is just a silly moving of the goalpost. It’s especially silly when you realize you’re setting a higher bar for legitimacy than the Republican Party who nominated someone whose only “experience” for the presidency was in the private sector and on the NBC Tuesday night primetime block. I hope you and the Barons of Wikipedia reconsider just for the sake of my OCD. 🙏 2601:18D:C180:7D20:AD37:7D7A:12FD:3760 ↗ (talk) 06:17, 23 February 2023 (UTC)

Marianne Williamson 2024 presidential campaign ↗ moved to draftspace

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ An article you recently created, Marianne Williamson 2024 presidential campaign ↗, is not suitable as written to remain published. re Delaware, Wolf succeeding Castle

Do you have a source for this? The linked source specifically says, Castle resigned at midnight yesterday (so, Jan 3), and notes at the end that the state was "without a governor" for 14 hours, not 4 days. I don't want to just revert out of hand but we need a source; it's entirely possible the one I got is wrong. Thanks. --Golbez (talk) 03:31, 27 October 2023 (UTC)

:Yes, I have found a source from Wolf's Wikipedia page that backs up the claim that Castle resigned on December 31st 1992

::That's not a source for this, it doesn't say Castle resigned on December 31, 1992. Furthermore, it contradicts the edit you made, since you (correctly) pointed out that Wolf wasn't sworn in in 1992. --Golbez (talk) 04:48, 27 October 2023 (UTC)

Closure on Talk:Hubert Humphrey ↗

When you closed the discussion, you forgot to add Template:Discussion bottom ↗ to the bottom of the thread, which caused the closure box to flow into the threads that followed (see this revision ↗). Also, based on the invisible comment left behind, I presume you substituted ↗ the Template:Discussion top ↗ instead of transcluding ↗ it. I should finally note that you closing the discussion yourself violated WP:NACINV ↗, since you participated in the discussion and the circumstances didn't seem uncontentious. 1996 Us Presidential Election

Hi, pencil ceaser here. you reverted my edit on the 1996 United States presidential election ↗ page where I added a note specifying that Ross Perot had a different running mate in many states. I'm open to reasoning, but you didn't say why you did that? It's a true fact. You also (incorrectly allthough I assume in good faith) previously reverted my changes on the 1996 California page where I changed ross Perot running mate. James Campbell does not yet have a wiki page but he was still Ross Perots running mate. The sources that are used in the articles for the results show that. Thank you for your time! Sorry to bother you.
