Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Heart North Lancashire & Cumbria ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lancaster ↗ ([//dispenser.info.tm/~dispenser/cgi-bin/dablinks.py/Heart_North_Lancashire_%26_Cumbria check to confirm] | [//dispenser.info.tm/~dispenser/cgi-bin/dab_solver.py/Heart_North_Lancashire_%26_Cumbria?client=notify fix with Dab solver]). Greatest hits radio

The reason why I moved the station links back to Forth 2 ↗, Tay 2 ↗ and Radio Borders ↗ is because Wikipedian: Flip Fomat and Sammi Brie moved the page articles back to their original names, which I totally understand their reasons why. Flip Format suggests that if future readers would want to look for historical radio stations, they would rather search for Clyde 2 rather than Greatest Hits Radio Glasgow & The West ↗ as an example.DoctorStrange97 (talk) 23:40, 25 April 2023 (UTC)

Hits Radio

I think we're headed in the direction we were at Greatest Hits Radio: split the stations' articles/history at the name change. Also going to leave a warning about cut-and-paste moves because they are not advisable... Sammi Brie (she/her • tc ↗) 05:47, 21 April 2024 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hi, and thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move ↗", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history ↗, which is legally required for attribution ↗. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be ''moved'' to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits ↗, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab ↗ at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu ↗ for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect ↗ from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves ↗ to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge ↗. Thank you. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc ↗) 05:48, 21 April 2024 (UTC)

On the "List of the Kenny Everett Video Show" article, song attribution for "All Stood Still" and "Press Darlings"

Hi,

In the article mentioned in the title, you made a lot of significant edits (many thanks!) Among these were a couple of Hot Gossip routines where the song was credited to Hot Gossip instead of the original artist (if any.)

One of these was ''"All Stood Still"''. The original "''All Stood Still"'' was an Ultravox album track, and the version on the show seems to be a cover of it recorded by Hot Gossip. So perhaps this should be credited as either "by Ultravox" or "by Ultravox/Hot Gossip"?

''"Press Darlings"'' is a little less straightforward - it's clearly partly a cover of ''"Prince Charming"'' by Adam and the Ants, but with the lyrics completely rewritten and sung by Hot Gossip. I'd like to suggest that this be credited as "by Hot Gossip/Adam and the Ants".

What do you think?
