Pushpendra Singh

Hello,
You added in the List of serving Indian general's list that Lt Gen Pushpendra Singh serves as DG Logistics. However, the national media is claiming he serves as GOC IX Corps. Can you provide a source of him serving as DG Logistics? 𝗭𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 19:34, 30 July 2025 (UTC)

:this if the official X account of Indian Army. You can visit and check that he was serving as DG OL. Lt Gen Pushpendra Singh was GOC IX Corps prior to assuming the appointment of DG OL HunterdeltaX15 (talk) 04:36, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
::Thanks for the link buddy. I'll use it in his article as a citation. 𝗭𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 04:48, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
:::Also a request to name the page as Pushpendra Pal Singh. kindly remove the word in bracket HunterdeltaX15 (talk) 04:54, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
::::An article exists on another person under same name, Pushpendra Pal Singh ↗. That's why I created it by adding (officer). 𝗭𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 04:56, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
:::::move it to Pushpendra Pal Singh (general) HunterdeltaX15 (talk) 05:04, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
::::::Officer is suitable 𝗭𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 05:43, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
::::Another question, in the official document it's written SM** instead of SM*. Does that mean he has been awarded SM twice or thrice? 𝗭𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 04:57, 1 August 2025 (UTC)

::::::Does that mean he has been awarded SM twice or thrice? 𝗭𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 05:42, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
:::::::twice HunterdeltaX15 (talk) 07:33, 1 August 2025 (UTC)

𝗭𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 07:59, 1 August 2025 (UTC)

:please always refer to govt sources for such purpose. this page is not as authentic as PIB is.
:for instance Lt Gen Ranbir was awarded AVSM twice in his career, you refer to PIB list when he was awarded PVSM... they used ** to denote the bar to AVSM. refer to the attached link below

Move

Reason to move Pushpendra Pal Singh ↗ to Pushpendra Pal Singh (professor) ↗? The 2nd article had existed before the VCOAS's, hence you can't move it to clarify the VCOAS one. You could have added not to be confused tag in the VCOAS's article. 𝗭𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 08:12, 1 August 2025 (UTC)

Alma Mater & Commands

Do not remove any institutions from Alma Mater of Pushpendra Pal Singh (general) ↗. If there is an existing article about the institution, it should be added. The term alma mater itself says that it is an institute a person attended or graduated from. <br> Additionally, I've removed the commands mentioning in the first paragraph except the GOC Ix corps, because it is not appropriate to add everything in the first paragraph. I've added that in his commands section. 𝗭𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 04:32, 3 August 2025 (UTC)

:Also it says he commanded an Mountain division during Operation Snow Leopard ↗. But there is no mention of it in the Order of Battle of it. Can you find a reference about it? 𝗭𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 04:43, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
::i hope you can read what is written. Only battles he himself took part in is mentioned. He commanded a division during the operation, he wasn't actually part of that operation. for reference read the official PIB release. HunterdeltaX15 (talk) 07:35, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
:::I'm saying to share a reference of him commanding. 𝗭𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 07:54, 3 August 2025 (UTC)

:the term alma mater is generally used for Undergraduate degrees. institutions from which he got higher studies degrees need not be mentioned. HunterdeltaX15 (talk) 07:47, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
::As per the definition in wikipedia it says 'The linked name of attended higher education institution(s).' Therefore it is necessary to add them. 𝗭𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 07:56, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
:::you must visit pages of other indian generals. don't make unnecessary chaos on the history page. HunterdeltaX15 (talk) 07:59, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
:::requesting you to not make any changes further HunterdeltaX15 (talk) 08:02, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
::::Read WP:OWN ↗. I partially agree with the appointment, but I don't agree with Alma Mater. There's no harm to add them in the Alma Mater section. 𝗭𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 08:33, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
:::::let's not create a hotchpotch there. let it be simple and concise. thank you HunterdeltaX15 (talk) 09:35, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
::::::Nobody owns an article, nor you or me. How about we establish a consensus on it whether to add all the institutions in alma mater section? As per the definition of Alma Mater is should be added, right? 𝗭𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 11:15, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
:::::::not agreeable. Staff Course and higher Command course aren't some degree like PhD, Undergraduate courses. I don't see reasons to add them just because to abide by a particular definition HunterdeltaX15 (talk) 11:49, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
::::::::Ofc there is a reason to add them. And also I wonder how come an officer do "Staff Course" from Osmania University and Punjab University? 𝗭𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 13:28, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
:::::::::you can add Osmania and Punjab. all I was saying was totally about DSSC and CDM HunterdeltaX15 (talk) 16:32, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
::::::::::adding Osmania and Punjab University is alright. HunterdeltaX15 (talk) 16:34, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
::::::::::There are alot of articles of Indian, Pakistani & Bangladeshi personnel (refering to Bangladesh & Pakistan as all three countries follow a similar military culture) which have Staff Colleges of their respective country and NDC (national defence college)/NDU (national defence university)/CDM in their Alma Mater. I have seen you prodding the article and removing a Pakistani source. Apart from the Pakistani source, there are 6 other references which stand correct about the officer. I have deprodded it.
Also as per your logic, we should remove all Indian sources in Pakistani articles such as Asim Munir ↗, where different Indian accounts made different claims. 𝗭𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 06:08, 18 November 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion ↗ nomination of :Praveen Keshav Vohra ↗

48px|left|alt=|link= ↗
{{Quote box|quote=<p>If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article ↗.</p><p>You may want to consider using the Article Wizard ↗ to help you create articles.</p>|width=20%|align=right}}
A tag has been placed on :Praveen Keshav Vohra ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement ↗. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.pib.gov.in/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=1981590&reg=3&lang=2. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of ''information'', but not as a source of ''sentences''. This part is crucial: ''say it in your own words''. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators '''will be blocked from editing ↗'''.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you ''must'' verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials ↗. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission ↗ for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy ↗ for more details, or ask a question here ↗.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may '''contest the nomination''' by visiting the page ↗ and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗. <!-- Template:Db-copyvio-notice -->

:Hello. How can I help you HunterdeltaX15 (talk) 14:19, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
::2025 India-Pakistan conflict article is heavily biased. Many indian claims not mentioned. Propaganda articles of Alan Warnes Key Aero who is associated with PAF for more than 24 years are put as source. And many many Indian claims are not mentioned RockyinXXX (talk) 16:39, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
:::Even if you edit them. Some person is going revert it back. The article must have been recognised as credible source by some administrator who maybe in their favour otherwise Administrators remove such biased sources which give undue weightage to a side in an article.
:::If required I will request for a neutral Administrator intervention HunterdeltaX15 (talk) 17:02, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
::::Please do it it's much necessary RockyinXXX (talk) 17:47, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
::::will you do it. If you accept soon I will mention about the Indian claims that are not even present in the article RockyinXXX (talk) 10:36, 8 July 2026 (UTC)
