"With billing block"

Hi, this is not an official poster ↗. Please avoid uploading edited/fan-made files over the official file. ภץאคгöร 11:30, 17 October 2024 (UTC)

:It's not fan-made or edited tho. That is the official billing-block version. Here are the matching international versions: 1 ↗ 2 ↗ 3 ↗ IAmNMFlores (talk) 17:33, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
::Just because they "match" doesn't mean that is the official billing block version. From the way I see it from multiple reliable sources including the film's distributor, the film was released in theaters with the previous version ("theatrical release poster"), and it is clear from the source you used to upload the file that the image is modified (the date at the bottom of the image is poorly inserted into the low-resolution). Do you actually have an official/reliable source for the image? ภץאคгöร 01:35, 18 October 2024 (UTC)
:::Well it comes from MoviePosters.com, and it's labeled as an "original". According to their website, an original poster is one "Printed by a film studio in limited quantity, for display in movie theaters to promote the film. ↗" IAmNMFlores (talk) 03:44, 18 October 2024 (UTC)
::::Yes, but I asked for an official/reliable source for the image, not what is already cited as a source. Are you implying that the distributor sent the official theatrical poster only to MoviePosters.com? ภץאคгöร 22:59, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
:::::I thought MoviePosters.com was considered a reliable source, as I could've sworn they were sourced for other posters. Unless you mean you want a second source. I don't know where you came to that implication; what it's saying basically is they sell studio distributed posters. IAmNMFlores (talk) 03:40, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
::::::You haven't provided anything else besides MoviePosters.com. Can you find any other source that at least includes this image as the theatrical release poster? By reliable/official source, I mean that the image is not included anywhere else officially and/or is not shown as a theatrical poster by a reliable source. ภץאคгöร 16:43, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
:::::::Never mind, my mistake. Feel free to revert to the previous poster. IAmNMFlores (talk) 17:52, 22 October 2024 (UTC)

20th Century Fox and Death Sentence

Did 20th Century Fox really co-produce Death Sentence? you put them in the list of production companies on the film's page unlike the 2009 Street Fighter movie Fox is credited in the "Presents" part and the film is also copyrighted to them some foreign versions like the UK, Italian, German and Scandinavian versions retain references to Fox though not distributed by them. Editoman (talk) 17:06, 7 February 2025 (UTC)

:Ah I made that edit a while back, but forgot to cite anything. Updated now. IAmNMFlores (talk) 18:54, 7 February 2025 (UTC)
::I wasn't asking you to cite anything for proof FilmAffinity is not infallible I mean what made you think that they co-produced the film because the film isn't copyrighted to them in the closing credits I know many foreign versions despite being distributed by independent distributors the fox logo is still on them I think because most of them were too lazy to bother editing out Fox references or they were supplied the wrong versions Editoman (talk) 07:29, 8 March 2025 (UTC)

Candyman (2021)

You removed Universal Pictures as a production company on Candyman for the same reason I added or removed them judging by if the credits "A Universal Release" and "A Universal Picture" nowadays they are more fallible with the difference since DreamWorks Animation films use the "A Universal Picture" credit even though they don't have a presenter credit. the better reason for you removing them from Candyman production companies is also that the film isn't copyrighted to Universal or trademarked either I believe they did provide a little bit of finance if Variety or Hollywood Reporter includes them as a production company. I believe the provided a small amount of finance like Fox did for All that Jazz. Editoman2 (talk) 16:22, 20 September 2025 (UTC)

Opening Credits Labeling

So, I’ve seen that you had a discussion with editors about opening credits and what studio produced them. One saying that Paramount and Nickelodeon Movies were only “distributors” of one of their films and didn’t produce because it says “presents”. Which is highly not true. I noticed that you also proved that SEGA Sammy Group is producing The Angry Birds Movie 3 without any changes for a few days.

I’m in need of help of proving that SEGA Sammy Group did indeed produce the Sonic the Hedgehog movies. But, editors keeps saying that they didn’t because their credits say “In Association With” and only provided “financing”. Which is weird to me because I did research and most of the producers from SEGA helped make the film and had creative control as listed in the credits. XyloQuip289 (talk) 09:25, 24 December 2025 (UTC)

:Sorry, I did my best to convince them of the same thing. There was a whole thing in the talk page archives. Given that the SEGA-owned Marza Animation Planet is a production company, I'm just assuming that's where the SEGA producers worked through. IAmNMFlores (talk) 18:58, 27 December 2025 (UTC)
