Cigarette lighters

Cuno Electric Match Was in 1912. They sued the Connecticut Automotive Specialty Company (Casco) and won. Do more research. ~2026-28428-62 ↗ (talk) 01:55, 11 May 2026 (UTC)

Time zone of places in Alberta.

Shouldn't the tine zones in Alberta places look like this <nowiki>{{abbr|AT|Alberta Time}} ↗</nowiki> (the Alberta Time pop-up is a bit hard to see giving {{abbr|AT|Alberta Time}} ↗? You could use <nowiki>AT}} ↗</nowiki> giving AT ↗ but I think the first is the best. I based on Alberta’s new time system ↗ that would seem to be the name. :Thanks for that link. I wasn’t aware that the government had officially promulgated a new name, as the legislation didn’t contain one – it just allowed a government minister to designate a name. I had a feeling it was going to be “Alberta Time” but I just went with CST for now. I’ll probably do another round of edits in a few days. I like your suggestion of using abbr markup. Indefatigable (talk) 18:53, 27 June 2026 (UTC)
::I've been using it for a while because you get boxes with <nowiki>MST ↗</nowiki> which doesn't explain the abbreviation. CambridgeBayWeather (#1 deranged), Uqaqatigijaa (talk), Huliva ↗ 19:20, 27 June 2026 (UTC)
:::After more thought, I think we should spell out “Alberta Time” in infoboxes. MOS:SOURCEABBR ↗ advises against creating acronyms, and AT conflicts with the established abbreviation for “Atlantic Time”. Even with {‌{abbr}} markup, “AT” could cause confusion. The infobox item will wrap onto two lines, but I don’t think that’s a big deal. Indefatigable (talk) 19:06, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
::::Sounds fine. CambridgeBayWeather (#1 deranged), Uqaqatigijaa (talk), Huliva ↗ 03:08, 1 July 2026 (UTC)
