Sands Point, New York ↗

You made an edit where you removed the village government from the infobox, and referred readers to the government section of the article. However, the list of council members ''should be'' in the infobox, per Template:Infobox settlement ↗, and not in the government section, per WP:USCITIES#Government ↗. Could you fix this? Thanks! Magnolia677 (talk) 20:00, 19 May 2026 (UTC)

:Hi Magnolia,
:Thank you very much for reaching out.
:I completely agree with the infobox requirement. The only reason I had changed it was because the collapsible menu for the infobox template was not working and appears to be broken (clicking does not reveal the list). I did this as a temporary measure, and was debating whether to just make a standalone list in that infobox section (as opposed to a drop-down or the "See village government section"). Would you recommend instead replacing the text, "See village government section" in the infobox, with a normal infobox list, until the ability to use a drop-down-type list is fixed?
:Thanks again for reaching out!
:Best,
:Infrastorian (talk) 20:17, 19 May 2026 (UTC)
::@Magnolia677: UPDATE: just made those changes. Please let me know if the formatting should be altered, and I will gladly make such edits. Thank you again!
::Best,

:::Hi there. The example often referred to for an example of a collapsed infobox list is the one at Halifax, Nova Scotia ↗. Cheers. Magnolia677 (talk) 20:42, 19 May 2026 (UTC)
::::Thank you! It must have been a formatting issue on ''my'' end, then. It worked! Thank you so much for this information.
::::If I see any other infoboxes with that issue (or that lack the information altogether), I will be sure to update them with this format.
::::Cheers,
::::Infrastorian (talk) 22:42, 19 May 2026 (UTC)

Salisbury Photos

I´m new to Wikipedia, I saw you have several photos of Salisbury, NY, but there´s only one or two on the article. What do you do with all the others? Liam20008 (talk) 15:55, 3 June 2026 (UTC)

:Welcome!
:So with images, they are uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, and put into categories (like Category:Salisbury, Nassau County, New York). Not all images need (or necessarily should) be added to an article – especially if there are many images of the subject or if it's a very short article.
:Hope this helps.

Salisbury Historical Population Table

I just created a historical population table for Salisbury, NY & I have another source which has older years, but I don´t know what you´re supposed to do for the editing code of a table if there´s more than one source. Liam20008 (talk) 01:04, 4 June 2026 (UTC)

:also I just got this message: Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have '''automatically detected''' that this edit ↗ performed by you, on the page Salisbury, Nassau County, New York ↗, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:
:* A missing title ↗ error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix ↗ | Ask for help ↗)
:Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive ↗, you can report it to my operator ↗. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 01:12, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
:Forget the first message, I figured it out. Liam20008 (talk) 16:30, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
