25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, Insomniac187, welcome to Wikipedia ↗ and thank you for your contributions ↗. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as {{User|Southern 4501 fan}}. Our policy on multiple accounts ↗ usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing ↗. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose ↗ these connections. {{checkuserblock-account|sig=~ Jenson (SilverLocust 💬) 04:05, 22 June 2026 (UTC)}}
{{unblock reviewed|decline=CheckUser evidence confirms that you have been using two accounts, which you have conceded. You had plenty of time to disclose this, but failed to do so, until you were blocked.
We cannot read your mind to decipher your ''intentions'' for operating multiple accounts, nor have you so far provided a convincing explanation, but the fact that you didn't disclose this counts against you as it at least leaves open the possibility that you did so for the wrong reasons.
It has also been suggested that you may be connected to earlier blocked accounts and/or banned IP users. This has not been conclusively proven, but nor has it been disproven, and having reviewed the evidence I consider this on the balance of probabilities more likely than not; hence, in my book, that counts against you as well.
All of the above added together leave me unconvinced that you are as innocent as you claim.
As I cannot find a compelling reason to unblock you, I am declining your appeal. DoubleGrazing (talk) 12:31, 22 June 2026 (UTC)|1=All future edits will be made on this account, not on GojiraFan1954 as that one will not make anymore edits, and is going to be deactivated. :@331dot that account has been abandoned now. And as I promise and say, all future edits will be made on this account, so now can I be unblocked? or is this a trap and a punishment for me being on Wikipedia. Insomniac187 (talk) 08:49, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
::Blocks are not a punishment, but a means of preventing disruption to Wikipedia. Only a checkuser can authorize the removal of this block. 331dot (talk) 09:12, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
:::Okay... so I'm guessing you're not a member of the checkuser community? or what ever its supposed to be, I just want to be back to editing by the end of this one whole day, because I've abandoned the account GojiraFan1954. And I'll say this again, all future edits I make will be on this account.<br><br>Should I rename my account once I'm unblocked? or should I just leave the name as is? Also, I had zero intent of being disruptive to Wikipedia, and the only reason why I got into this was because I was too angry and aggressive. Insomniac187 (talk) 09:23, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
:::: I promise I won't sockpuppet again. I am sorry for that. I apologize for that, and I take accountability and/or responsibility for my actions. Insomniac187 (talk) 09:43, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
:::::No, I'm not a checkuser. 331dot (talk) 09:45, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
::::Please don't start an appeal on UTRS while you have one open here. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:44, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
:::::Ok. I apologize for that. I was just upset and freaking out as well as panicking to get back on Wikipedia. Insomniac187 (talk) 09:46, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
::::::You were suggesting in your appeal on UTRS that you were using this account and {{no ping|GojiraFan1954}} as legitimate alt accounts ↗. This is not indicated on either userpage, or anywhere else that I can find, but then again you've been using these accounts for nearly two years and 3K edits, so perhaps I just didn't dig deep enough – can you point to anywhere where you might have disclosed this?
::::::And another question: have you had other accounts besides these two? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:06, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
:::::::I did say that the account GojiraFan1954 was an alt account, and then I changed my mind at the last minute and decided to shift to this account. Also, there are no other accounts I have used, this is THE main account I have. Insomniac187 (talk) 10:09, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
::::::::Please don't panic. Why do you urgently need to return? 331dot (talk) 10:10, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::So I can prepare to write more articles and listicles, as I have a schedule to get articles on topics done before or exactly on the day that it happened. (e.g: A C&S train wreck in September) Insomniac187 (talk) 10:12, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::Okay, but we have no deadlines ↗. It'll all be here for you when you're back. We don't want to cause you anxiety or panic. 331dot (talk) 10:16, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::Ok. But the problem here is that my block is basically forever, not scheduled. Which hurt my feelings, and made me fear that all my work I spent years into would be destroyed. Insomniac187 (talk) 10:18, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::::I said "years" referring to the past two years since I launched this account and the other account. Insomniac187 (talk) 10:19, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
::::::::Show me ''where and when'' you said that (GojiraFan1954 being your alt)? I'm trying to understand whether you've been open and transparent about this, which could help your case. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:19, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::The claim that I had an alt account was in the ticket that you declined, remember that UTRS from earlier? That has all the proof in there. Insomniac187 (talk) 10:21, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::If you can't find it, I'll recite the claim here. Insomniac187 (talk) 10:22, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::Is that the first time you disclosed using two accounts; after you were already blocked? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:26, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::This is the first time I got blocked on Wikipedia for Sockpuppetry. Insomniac187 (talk) 10:27, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::::That isn't what I was asking. I asked whether your UTRS appeal earlier today was the first time that you've disclosed using two accounts. I was hoping that you could point to something, ideally all the way back in 2024 when you registered your second account, where you openly stated that you are using them as alt accounts. Even if that disclosure was done in a way that isn't obvious now (maybe it's buried in some talk page archive etc.), it would go a long way to demonstrating your intention to use the two accounts legitimately and transparently, rather than surreptitiously. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:37, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::::Can you explain to me what that means? Does it mean use accounts to operate under multiple identities? Insomniac187 (talk) 10:59, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::::::What does what mean? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:05, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::::::The term "disclosed using two accounts" Insomniac187 (talk) 11:06, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::::::::There are legitimate reasons for, and ways of, operating multiple accounts. For example, I have a second account {{no ping|DGrazing tester}}, which doesn't have administrator rights or any advanced permissions, and which I use for testing. The day I registered that account, I placed an icon on my userpage User:DoubleGrazing which discloses that to anyone who cares to check, and also puts me in a relevant category :Category:Wikipedians with alternative accounts ↗. I also explicitly stated on my alt account userpage User:DGrazing tester that it is an alt of my main account.
::::::::::::::::Then there are entirely illegitimate reasons for operating multiple accounts, such as to take part in discussions to manipulate consensus, or to edit war while staying below the WP:3RR ↗ threshold. Anyone intending to misuse their multiple accounts thus would obviously not want to disclose that they are doing so, as that would defeat the purpose.
::::::::::::::::Hence, I'm trying to understand where you fit into this, whether you have openly stated (ie. 'disclosed') somewhere that you have multiple accounts. And again, for clarity, I mean whether you have stated this ''before you were blocked'' once the CheckUser findings had already revealed it to be the case. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:36, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::::::::Originally I was going to put a disclaimer on that account, but I constantly kept forgetting that on my schedule until it led to this. So hopefully this answers your question. Insomniac187 (talk) 11:39, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::::::::::All that happened because of the aftermentioned anxiety and fear because I was also dealing with the whole RoM conflict, which I have distanced myself from that. Insomniac187 (talk) 11:43, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::::::::::You created your alt (GojiraFan1954) on 6 October 2024. You've {{tq|"constantly kept forgetting"}} for a very long time. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:47, 22 June 2026 (UTC)

:::::::::::::::Also, is this the last question before I can be unblocked or is there more? If so, how much more?, because I might as well start a new thread titled "June 22, 2026" Insomniac187 (talk) 11:23, 22 June 2026 (UTC)

::If no administrator is comfortable unblocking you at this point, then following the WP:OFFER ↗ is a community-endorsed method for demonstrating good faith and the willingness and ability to follow rules. You can read more about it at the link.
::Unfortunately, it's difficult to see you getting unblocked right now. Your responses to being blocked have not been constructive. You talk mostly about the block as something that ''happened'' to you, not the natural result of your conduct, which has been lacking, and keep making odd assertions about some mysterious editing schedule and declarations about how your appeal is sufficient to be unblocked. The tenor of many of your comments certainly would not lead me to think that you editing right now is a good idea, and I suspect I'm not alone there. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 22:41, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
:::I shall follow the WP:OFFER rules, so I'll wait until December 22, 2026. Insomniac187 (talk) 04:53, 23 June 2026 (UTC)

@DoubleGrazing
Originally I was going to put a disclaimer on that account, but I constantly kept forgetting that on my schedule until it led to this. So hopefully this answers your question. All that happened because of the aftermentioned anxiety and fear because I was also dealing with the whole RoM conflict, which I have distanced myself from that. I could've been reminded by others about this mistake, but that wasn't the case.
Anyway, my main goal is to get unblocked from Wikipedia, and right now I have presented enough evidence for my appeal to be approved. One thing is for certain is that when I get unblocked I should probably not touch anything Godzilla-related on Wikipedia for at least two months, just have me stick to my normal routine on trains until I have decided when I can retire from Wikipedia. Insomniac187 (talk) 12:04, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
:I am currently unsupportive of unblocking you largely because of some false statements and bad-faith arguments that you have made. If people cannot trust you to be truthful, then they are not going to support unblocking you. I would urge you to acknowledge any false or misleading things you have said on Wikipedia in the past 5 days (since returning to the RfD ↗ on June 20, which I assume is what you mean by the "RoM [Rebirth of Mothra] conflict"). ~ Jenson (SilverLocust 💬) 09:13, 24 June 2026 (UTC)
::As evident when I said "I take accountability and/or responsibility for my actions", this applies to everything, including the "false or misleading things" stated on Wikipedia in the past 5 days. I guess my overall lesson is to not engage with RfDs.
::Like I said earlier, I take accountability and/or responsibility for my actions, and said accountability means FULL accountability. Insomniac187 (talk) 22:24, 24 June 2026 (UTC)
::Question I have in regards to this punishment is, am I just banned here? or am I banned off the entire Wikimedia project forever like Wikimedia Commons? Because I don't know what I could do during my six-month wait. Insomniac187 (talk) 22:57, 24 June 2026 (UTC)
:::I'm guessing that it's probably a "never come back" type punishment if this does affect Wikimedia Commons. Insomniac187 (talk) 23:02, 24 June 2026 (UTC)
::::You are only blocked from English Wikipedia. There is no global block in place for you, so you're free to edit in any and all WMF projects with English Wikipedia being the only exception. If you edit constructively for six months at Commons, an unblock request in six months (or a later time) under the standard offer will likely be more convincingly. However, if you get blocked or edit unconstructively at Commons or another project, it may be evaluated as part of an unblock request here. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 03:10, 25 June 2026 (UTC)
:::::Maybe not, Coffee. {{no ping|LB&SCR E2}} is blocked on Commons. See my next comment ↗. ~ Jenson (SilverLocust 💬) 03:12, 25 June 2026 (UTC)
::::The main false statements I had in mind were the "{{tq|there are no other accounts I have used}}"/"{{tq|This is the first time I got blocked on Wikipedia for Sockpuppetry}}", as upon further examination ↗ I am sure that {{no ping|LB&SCR E2}} is a previous account of yours.
::::And some bad-faith arguments I had in mind were:
::::# Saying ↗ "{{tq|If it really was a sock, then the IP would have more than one edit, be matching topics of interest}}" at the same time that you had multiple accounts for editing about different topics (a Gozilla account and a railroads accounts)
::::#: (That comment would have also been a good moment to be remember that "{{tq|I was going to put a disclaimer on that account, but I constantly kept forgetting}}". Another good moment to remember that was when you filed a sockpuppet investigation about another editor ↗.)
::::# The incredibly silly argument in that same comment that "{{tq|Another difference is the term usage, as the IP used the term "delete and salt", just by themselves. While I do use the terms "delete" and "salt", I instead use the term "Atomic breath" for the term "delete".}}"
::::I am not an administrator on Commons, so I'll let a Commons admin advise you on that. (CC: Pi.1415926535, who blocked LB&SCR E2 on Commons.) ~ Jenson (SilverLocust 💬) 03:11, 25 June 2026 (UTC)
:::::Oof, I hadn't seen another sock was added to the mix. Insomniac, this...complicates things a bit. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 03:16, 25 June 2026 (UTC)

I'm now leaving Wikipedia because of this controversy, it just sounds suspicious to me, so much has happened, and I'm a too much of a burden. After looking into E2, he left two years ago, with the same feelings as me. He's been inactive from Wikipedia for two years, and I'd imagine that he would now be thinking that he was bullied for no reason.
This is my last message, and after that, I will be logging off Wikipedia forever until the situation dies down. You can reach out to E2 on Fandom as that is where he is right now.
