Being 80 or over is not a disqualification
I noticed your comment about Cardinal Arinze. :My bad, I stand corrected. To be honest, if I had put more thought behind it, I would have remembered that technically every unmarried catholic male is eligible. At least I think that's all there is, I've never actually double checked that with the official text and I don't know of any other official requirement, even if unofficially surely there are some.
:About His Eminence, Cardinal Arinze, I guess I should have said that His election is very unprobable, due to the fact that He will not take part in the Conclave and, given the long standing tradition of an insider to be elected, in my mind this would exclude Him at least from the list of papabili, intended as the group of people that have the really highest chance (as far as the maker of the list knows) of being elected. We surely cannot put every technically possible choice on that list.
