Wikipedia Research

Hello I'm a student from LUISS university in Rome and I'm working on a presentation based on wikipedia's crowdsourcing process and one part of the work is to put myself in the shoes of a wikipedia contributor and find out some feeling he receives when editing or writing pages. The questions I would like to receive answers on are the following:

# What does the editor think and feel:
# What does the editor say and do:
# What does the editor hear and see (about its surroundings):
# What are his pains (what type of frustration does the user feel when contributing):
# What are his gains (what does make him feel good when contributing):

Active support is really needed so thanks in advance and have a great day Tartaluca (talk) 14:40, 11 November 2025 (UTC)

Hello! Voting in the '''2025 Arbitration Committee elections ↗''' is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on {{#time:l, j F Y|{{Arbitration Committee candidate/data|2025|end}}-1 day}}. All '''eligible users ↗''' are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee ↗ is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process ↗. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans ↗, topic bans ↗, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy ↗ describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates ↗ and submit your choices on the '''2025|poll}}|voting page ↗'''. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{tlx|NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:38, 18 November 2025 (UTC)

You need to take your concerns about Daryl Cooper to BLPN if you think they can't be used

You have edit warred

...about Carl Schmitt ↗.

Hello {{u|JDiala}}, this is a formal warning that your discussions about the numbers of reverts in 24 hours have been irrelevant as you have edit warred regardless. Edit warring is not limited to violations of the three revert rule. The content you have edit warred about is arguably affected by WP:BLPRESTORE ↗ and WP:BURDEN ↗'s citation requirements, but the reverts went further than purely only removing the disputed material about Donald Trump, so no side can claim an exception for their actions in this edit war. The only reason this doesn't lead to a block is that I believe that merely pointing out that you have indeed been edit warring will probably be sufficient to make you stop.

Best regards,
~ ToBeFree (talk) 06:27, 23 June 2026 (UTC)
:Thanks for the feedback. The Trump angle I did not consider, good catch. JDiala (talk) 06:40, 23 June 2026 (UTC)
