To a Kinder World
Hi, I'm planning a GA/FA push for the episode, and since you worked on the plot summary, I just wanted to let you know in advance that I intend to create a draft page for the plot summary that's meant to find the "just right" amount of plot explanation, as well as ensure that it can be easily understood by someone who has never seen the show or read the manga. I'll let you know once it's ready so you can weigh in. Cukie Gherkin (talk) 14:01, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
:It does seem to be resolved by a third party, as they have summarized some of the important plot points of the episode. I do appreciate you approaching me with this request. JT0219 (talk) 14:04, 14 December 2024 (UTC)

MyGO!
Hello! Please take a look at the recent ↗ edits ↗ to the article BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!! ↗. Some user (from the Chinese section?) seems to be trying to erase Takeda Ayano's involvement in the writing of the show and present it as the studio's overall work "according to the director's plan," which they even repeats several times in the article. I consider this a potential conflict of interest, as the point in question is quoted from her interview, where she discusses her own writing, and at one point during the show's broadcast, Ayano was even subjected to harassment by Chinese users, who blamed her for the decline in the quality of the script and, speculatively, even forced her to leave the project. But if you think I'm wrong, you are free to undo my edit and/or rewrite the mentioned fragment. Solaire the knight (talk) 17:51, 14 October 2025 (UTC)
:Sorry for my poor English and formatting. However, my concern is not just about one director, but the entire production team. That's why I refer to it as a directing plan(演出プラン), not a director's plan(監督プラン). On many forums and SNS, the focus is often only on the screenwriter, who is mistakenly credited as the originator of many ideas. As an anime enthusiast, this worries me, because it not only downplays others' contributions but also puts undue pressure on the screenwriter. That's why I insist on restoring my edit. I also enjoy anime like ''Locodol'' that Ayana has participated in. By the way, Kakimoto and Sanzigen have received much more criticism here than Ayano, and are considered to have made no positive contribution to ''Mygo'' or ''Mujica''.--秦百751984871 (talk) 18:38, 14 October 2025 (UTC)

Sanda
Hi! So, what are your thoughts on SANDA so far? I still haven't watched the anime, but judging by the fan translation and the episode descriptions on the wiki itself, Ono's feelings are one-sided (Shiori's final chapter in the manga depicts her alone, but I don't know the context. The poster for the final chapter, however, shows Ono hugging her from behind), but Shiori still has some gender conflict? I was expecting you to change the text later, but did you really decide to wait until the anime's finale? Solaire the knight (talk) 14:30, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
:It's very one-sided on Ono's part, and if I recall correctly, Fuyumura kinda wants to keep their relationship as friends. In regard to the gender conflict part, it seems that it's been a bit subdued but still present within Fuyumura's character arc. I did add those initial character info for the both of them back when it's just episodes 3 to 5, but I think it can be updated to reflect the current situation since it seems pretty definitive and with the finale possibly approaching in 2 week's time. JT0219 (talk) 15:40, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
:: So if Ono's case quite obviously fits within the framework of queer discourse, Shiori is on the edge and will require good research and finding the right sources? I was hoping that the anime would adapt the entire manga, since from what I understand from the discussions, a lot of the key moments remain in the second half of the story. Continued removal of writer's references from MyGO article
It looks like this Chinese user has again started deleting quotes and references ↗ to the show's writer from the article. A couple of months after he tried to do it last time ↗, vaguely replacing this with complaints about "provoking attacks on the director," etc. I just don't know what to make of this. It seems like this echoes the harassment of Ayana on the Chinese internet ↗, when users tried to attack Ayana to defend the director after criticizing the show. Solaire the knight (talk) 14:00, 19 January 2026 (UTC)

:Regarding what you referred to as "users tried to attack Ayana to defend the director", I have already addressed it in my previous response ↗ —Kakimoto and Sanzigen have received much more criticism here than Ayano, and are considered to have made no positive contribution to Mygo or Mujica. 秦百751984871 (talk) 14:38, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
:: A text match doesn't necessarily mean the English text was translated from Chinese. It could very well be the other way around. Especially if we are talking about one interview, not to mention the fact that you have not provided any arguments to support the thesis about the incorrect translation, only your statements about it. Secondly, as I've already told you, we don't care who received criticism or why. We write articles based on authoritative sources, not social media disputes or personal perceptions of fairness. Solaire the knight (talk) 14:44, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
:::Sincerely please open Reference13 (authoritative sources) ↗ , as it makes no mention of "told by series director Kōdai Kakimoto to commit fully to the heavier tone" or "balancing this direction with the desire to not alienate fans of earlier installments".I am certain that I deleted it based on authoritative sources. 秦百751984871 (talk) 14:52, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
::::: What do you mean? There's a whole paragraph about that, and Ayano mentions that she wasn't sure how seriously she could write the plot after the more wholesome previous story, but the director encouraged her to give it her all. Wait, you don't seem to realize that this is a summary of the paragraph, not a verbatim quote? Solaire the knight (talk) 14:59, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
:::::: After rechecking, I confirm that I mixed up the order of enwikipedia and zhwikipedia, and I sincerely apologize for this. However, in the corresponding Reference13 ↗, it is indeed true that <s>"Given the lighter tone of previous BanG Dream! installments, Ayana initially struggled with balancing this direction with the desire to not alienate fans of earlier installments, but was told by series director Kōdai Kakimoto to commit fully to the heavier tone."</s> is not mentioned anywhere, neither in the entire article nor in any specific section.--秦百751984871 (talk) 15:05, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
:::::::: I still don't understand what you're trying to say. I found the passage you mentioned on the first page, and the only difference is that the text in the article summarizes everything said in that section. Are you really not confusing a verbatim quote with a general summary of the text? Because what you're looking for is literally in the source and isn't ambiguous. Solaire the knight (talk) 15:11, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
::::::It is difficult to view "encouraged her to give it her all" and "told to commit fully to the heavier tone" as conveying the same meaning; in fact, this has even led to significant misunderstandings. 秦百751984871 (talk) 15:12, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
:::::::: You're taking the phrase out of context and seem to be confusing a direct quote with a summary. In the full paragraph, Ayana writes about how she felt hesitant about developing the story in a heavier tone, but the director dispelled her doubts by asking her to continue in that vein. You're looking for a direct quote word for word, when this is a summary of the entire paragraph. Solaire the knight (talk) 15:14, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::Okay... I hope that, at least, '''a better wording can be adopted to avoid more misunderstandings'''.

:::Social media disputes andpersonal perceptions of fairness were merely the trigger for my edits, not the basis. My basis has always been authoritative sources. 秦百751984871 (talk) 15:07, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
:::: I'm sorry, but your actions directly violate the project's conflict of interest ↗ rules, as you seem to directly acknowledge your attempts to reword the article, citing your own position in non-Wikipedia media conflicts. Formally, you do cite sources, but your claims of missing text in the source were not confirmed, and you also attempted to remove quotes from Ayana that were literally based on her interview. Witch of Mercury again
Hello! Please take a look at this thread ↗. It's telling that after all these years of endless edit wars and forced page defenses, this is the first time they've actually addressed the issue. But of course, these are mostly personal attacks and demands to ban those who disagree with them from editing the article. Solaire the knight (talk) 06:06, 10 May 2026 (UTC)
:I did see within the article's talkpage that it's quite a longstanding point of contention and that multiple have been arguing about it. While I don't have an intimate familiarity with the topic surrounding the issue (I did hear it through various discussions online) and we wouldn't want to treat the Anime and manga WikiProject page a dirty place for debate again right after the debacle with ''Cosmic Princess Kaguya!'', I think it's best to contact maybe some of the main editors of the page and WikiProject heads about this issue to reach a solid and definite conclusion. I can try to ask them if they can back up their claims if possible. JT0219 (talk) 06:16, 10 May 2026 (UTC)
:: Any help would be greatly appreciated. I could understand if this were truly a controversial and ambiguous case, but in all of these cases, users seem to be deliberately trying to challenge objectively canonical cases, looking for the slightest and most elusive loopholes. I'll also remind you once again that this situation occurred during similar attempts to remove references to queer content from Fandom wikis. Perhaps all these users are somehow connected? Just recently, a user was banned who silently removed queer content ↗ and even links to LGBTQ wikis from articles without any comment. Solaire the knight (talk) 06:40, 10 May 2026 (UTC)
:::It does seem that there is an uptick of similar cases of pushback against LGBTQ+/queer content within anime and manga articles, as one admin from the ANI complaint you linked noted that. I do not want to assume that there might be one user doing this through multiple IP addresses, but maybe this can be notified. JT0219 (talk) 06:51, 10 May 2026 (UTC)
::::: In the past, I've encountered people creating threads on imageboards or other forums to attack specific wikis or articles. Could something similar be happening here? Although my experience on MAL suggests that individuals can indeed be hyper-motivated to do such things, even on their own. Solaire the knight (talk) 07:18, 10 May 2026 (UTC)

Regarding draft for Soigne (studio)
Per your request on my talk page at User talk:Z. Patterson/Archive 4#Assistance in improving Soigne, I have translated the last two paragraphs of the History section of the original Japanese article and included the translations into Draft:Soigne (studio) ↗. Please feel free to review and make changes to your draft as needed. Z. Patterson (talk) 21:00, 27 June 2026 (UTC)
:Checking through the stuff you've expounded on, I think it does a better job explaining the work system of the studio. I think we can rearrange it slightly to read more coherently. Thanks for the contribution! JT0219 (talk) 05:32, 29 June 2026 (UTC)
