Holy shit!
OK, I was expecting to come down like the hammer of god for your edits to Shit ↗, but they were good ones. And your edit summaries were, frankly, fucking awesome. I had to drop by to pass along this:
{| style="border: 1px solid {{{border|gray}}}; background-color: {{{color|#fdffe7}}};"
|rowspan="2" valign="middle" | 100px ↗
|rowspan="2" |

Shit is The Shit
I have to apologize... I didn't mean my edit summaries to be insulting; I just couldn't resist wording it that way. And apparently you've taken them in the spirit in which they were intended, which I VERY MUCH appreciate. Thank you for writing.
The Shit entry, by the way, especially the Usage section, is the funniest thing I have read anywhere on the Web. You really know your shit.
rowley 16:58, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
:Wish I could take the credit it, but some other editor wrote that shit. Probably several contributed to turn it from a collection of tiny little shits into a great big pile of shit. And I totally agree. The usages is the shit. Someone has mad ninja skills to write that much joyful use of profanity and still have it not set off my wikidar. I don't consider your edit summary insulting (wikipedia is not censored ↗), but rather heartily appropriate to the page. WLU 17:10, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
Ultimate Gift
I reversed your changes to The Ultimate Gift ↗. Please review placing punctuation marks outside of quotes ↗ and Wikipedia doesn't use spoiler alerts ↗. Thanks! ∴ Therefore | <small>talk</small> 01:28, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the
Kerouac fix ups. It seems when writing about him, that writing like him doesn't always work. :)

Be sure to use talk pages to communicate
Just an FYI, you posted your holiday well-wishes (thanks by the way, hope your holidays were good ones!) on my user page, not my talk page ↗. When leaving messages for editors, it's always better to do so on the ''talk page'' for a variety of reasons. The user page (called "user page" in the tabs at the top {{=)}}!) is for editors to say something about themselves and their work. Yours is red right now because it is empty but ultimately you can use it to say things like "I'm Jim Rowland, I live in Hawaii, I'm interested in model airplanes and I have the best dog ever". The talk page (the next tab to the right, called "discussion" and since you're reading this, it would be in bold) is for communication and results in the orange box at the top of the page when signed in.

: User_talk page...? Would that be found under the "discussion" tab?rowley (talk) 00:03, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
::Yup, it's the "discussion" tab, but the url ends in user_talk. Right now we're on the talk page, and you obviously added something to your user page recently 'cause it's blue now. Disambiguation link notification for June 28
Hi. When you recently edited The First Edition (band) ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Alex Harvey ↗ (check to confirm ↗ | fix with Dab solver ↗). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. <small>Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.</small>

Your comment on Talk:Inductance ↗
I'm sorry your comment on the Talk:Inductance ↗ page was never really addressed; some of the editors on that page get a mite hot. I agree with you about the article; a lot of the technological articles on WP seem to be short on plain English. I'd like to try to improve that. I'd be interested in any comments you have about the article, what specifically was understandable and where it descended into esoteric. Cheers. --<span style="color:blue;">Chetvorno</span><i style="color:purple; font-size:smaller;">TALK</i> 07:02, 15 July 2012 (UTC)

<blockquote>'''Fails WP:NMUSIC ↗'''</blockquote>
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons ↗.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary ↗ or on the article's talk page ↗.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process ↗, but other deletion process ↗es exist. In particular, the speedy deletion ↗ process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion ↗ allows discussion to reach consensus ↗ for deletion.<!-- Template:Proposed deletion notify --> KH-1 (talk) 03:51, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
