Dow Lohnes Law Firm
I’m attempting to locate an obituary or surviving family of Fred Albertson. My hope is to learn more about Fred and his accomplishments in radio.
Fred was an Univ. of Michigan law grad but during his time in Ann Arbor, Fred was an active ham radio operator. Fred’s notes, in our historical library, show that Fred was instrumental in maintaining radio contact with both the Greater Rockford and Col. McCormacks Untin Bowler. Both planes failed in their attempts to fly from Illinois to Germany.
Fred also had frequents radio contacts with Admiral Byrd during his expedition of Antarctica and with Prof. Hobbs expedition of Greenland during the late 1920’s.
Again, I would like to write about his vast accomplishments with radio and hope that I could be directed to a family member for further research. <!-- Template:Unsigned --><small class="autosigned">— Preceding unsigned ↗ comment added by UM Radio (talk • contribs ↗) 22:51, 24 June 2024 (UTC)</small> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->
:Sorry, I did not know Fred Albertson personally and have no information on his surviving family. You might follow up with the Library of American Broadcasting at the University of Maryland. Also, worldradiohistory.com is a worthwhile research site. Johnwellsking (talk) 00:12, 25 June 2024 (UTC)

25px ↗ Hello, I'm Graham87. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you unlinked ↗ one or more redlinks ↗ from :Piano pedals ↗. Redlinks are useful ↗ and can often be helpful, so we don't remove them just because they are red. They help improve Wikipedia by attracting editors to create needed articles.
In addition, clicking on the "What links here ↗" link (in the tools listed at the left in desktop view ↗) on a missing article shows how many—and which—articles depend on that article being created. This can help prioritize article creation. Please only remove a redlink if you are pretty sure that it is to a non-notable topic ↗ and not likely ever to be created. Great work!
Brilliant work on all those Nelson Riddle albums! I've loved listening to his arrangments over the years, the incremental layering and the brassy bombast. Genius. Thank you so much. No Swan So Fine (talk) 08:24, 1 March 2023 (UTC)

Better source request for :File:Louis Slobodkin.jpg ↗
Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:
You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright ↗ status of the image because the source is incomplete or generic. Please consider clarifying the ''exact'' source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact source (such as the web page, or printed document) where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain, search engine, pinboard, aggregator, or the direct/bare URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following <span class="plainlinks">[{{fullurl:Special:Log|type=upload&user={{BASEPAGENAMEE}}}} this link]</span>. If you have any questions please ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions ↗. Thank you. <!-- Template:Bsr-user --> — Ирука13 ↗ 03:51, 5 December 2025 (UTC)
