Image copyright problem with File:Daedalus.jpeg

64px|left|alt=Image Copyright problem|link= ↗
Thank you for uploading :File:Daedalus.jpeg ↗.

This image is a derivative work ↗, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the image description page states the source and copyright status of the derivative work, it only names the creator of the original work without specifying the status of their copyright over the work.

Wikipedia takes copyright ↗ very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the '''license''' and the '''source''' of the original image. If you know this information, then you can add a '''copyright tag ↗''' to the image description page ↗.

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in [{{fullurl:Special:Log|type=upload&user=JooneBug37}} your upload log].

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page ↗. {{You can request undeletion}} Thanks again for your cooperation.<!-- Template:Di-no license-notice --> — Ирука13 ↗ 22:59, 3 September 2023 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:Daedalus.jpeg

64px|left|alt=|link= ↗
Thanks for uploading or contributing to ''':File:Daedalus.jpeg ↗'''. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria ↗, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page ↗, and edit it to include a non-free rationale ↗.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions ↗" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion ↗ and ask for a chance to fix the problem.<!-- Template:You can request undeletion --> If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page ↗. Thank you.<!-- Template:Di-no fair use rationale-notice --> — Ирука13 ↗ 18:12, 4 September 2023 (UTC)

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

25px|Smile emoji ↗ Hi JooneBug37! Thank you for your edits to :Development and discovery of SSRI drugs ↗. It looks like you've copied or moved text from :Fluoxetine ↗ into that page, and while you are welcome to re-use the content, Wikipedia's licensing ↗ requires that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied in an edit summary ↗ at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking ↗ to the copied page, e.g., <code>copied content from <nowiki>page name ↗</nowiki>; see that page's history for attribution</code>. If you've copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia ↗. Thanks! DanCherek (talk) 00:02, 28 December 2023 (UTC)

please use edit summaries

25px|alt=Information icon|link= ↗ Hello. I have noticed that you {{usertalk other|often ↗|often}} edit without using an edit summary ↗. Please do your best to '''always fill in the summary field'''. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences ↗. Hey, thanks for your interesting article about using and improving Wikipedia (https://www.michigandaily.com/statement/exploring-and-building-the-depths-of-wikipedia/ ↗)! I did a little digging after you mentioned some of your edits. Unnecessary Editing in Batman: Arkham

Hello, JooneBug37! There was no need to undo my edit I made in the Batman: Arkham game series when I put the game Batman: The Dark Knight Rises on the list, I still put it with references and put everything correctly, as it was an action and adventure game exclusive to Android and iOS cell phones. It's okay that the game may have nothing to do with the Arkham series. The game was based on the same film also released in 2012, Batman: The Dark Knight Rises and that's why I decided to put it on the list because it's the only cell phone game with a 3D view and an open world. What you did was unnecessary. FabioXerem (talk) 05:46, 5 March 2025 (UTC)

Beyond my comments in my edit summary... aattributing purported statements of fact author does not rescue an unreliable source. Attribution can be used for the author's OPINION as a source, but cannot be used as a back-door in order to include statements of fact by an unreliable source. Also, there is an issue of weight. The author is non-notable and giving their opinions so much space in the article would be undue. Marcus Markup (talk) 05:19, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
