I assume that you are not Ken Griffey; however your username suggests that you could be. I would suggest simply changing your name to add "fan" to the end which will remove such ambiguity. 331dot (talk) 15:49, 5 December 2017 (UTC)

'''Welcome!'''

Hello, KENGRIFFEY24FAN, and welcome ↗ to Wikipedia! I have noticed that you are fairly new! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. I also see that some of '''your recent edits ↗''', such as the ones to the page :LaVar Ball ↗, show an interest in the use of images and/or photos on Wikipedia.

Did you know that ...

If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the '''New contributors' help page ↗''', where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type '''{{Tlc|Help me}}''' on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian ↗! Please sign your name ↗ on talk pages using four tilde ↗s (<nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions ↗ or ask me on my talk page. —Bagumba (talk) 05:38, 6 December 2017 (UTC)<!-- Template:Welcome-image --></div>

I've been trying to get an image on that page and have it on the page so, I need someone to help me with that.

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Welcome ↗, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. With Hill and Patterson's numbers on their own pages, it seemed appropriate to put the numbers on. Before you commented you should have looked at THIER pages first.
:If you have a citation saying that the '''Patriots''' have assigned these numbers to them, or even that they claim the Patriots have assigned these numbers to them, that will suffice. Just arbitrarily changing the numbers is not acceptable. Last I checked, Hill had a number 33 on his page, but did not say that the Patriots had assigned him that number - and, '''HE''' doesn't get to make that decision. I assume there is something similar with Patterson? <b style="color:green">Tarl N.</b> (<span style="color:teal">discuss</span>) 00:37, 22 April 2018 (UTC)
::Secondary comment - if someone objects to you making an uncited change, then '''CITE''' the change (it would have been even better if you specified that in the edit comment to begin with). That means specify the change so someone else can find it. Just making a vague reference to "their own pages" is not a citation. I don't keep track of every individual player's web pages, instagram and twitter IDs. <b style="color:green">Tarl N.</b> (<span style="color:teal">discuss</span>) 00:39, 22 April 2018 (UTC)

left|25px|alt= ↗Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to :Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing ↗. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution ↗, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). A tag has been placed on :LosPollosTV ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion ↗, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/LosPollosTV ↗. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may '''contest the nomination''' by visiting the page ↗ and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗. Introduction to contentious topics

{{ivmbox | image = Commons-emblem-notice.svg |imagesize=50px | bg = #E5F8FF | text = You have recently edited a page related to '''articles about living or recently deceased people ↗, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles''', a topic designated as '''contentious ↗'''. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and <em>does <strong>not</strong> imply that there are any issues with your editing</em>.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as ''contentious topics''. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit <strong>carefully</strong> and <strong>constructively</strong>, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

<p>Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics ''procedures'' you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard ↗ or you may learn more about this contentious topic here ↗. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{tl|Ctopics/aware}} template. </p>}}<!-- Derived from Template:Contentious topics/alert/first --> Moneytrees🏝️(Talk) 06:17, 4 May 2024 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics

{{ivmbox | image = Commons-emblem-notice.svg |imagesize=50px | bg = #E5F8FF | text = You have recently edited a page related to '''articles about living or recently deceased people ↗, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles''', a topic designated as '''''contentious ↗'''''. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and <em>does <strong>not</strong> imply that there are any issues with your editing</em>.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as ''contentious topics''. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee ↗. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators ↗ have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit <strong>carefully and constructively</strong>, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

<p>Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics ''procedures'', you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard ↗ or you may learn more about this contentious topic here ↗. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{tl|Ctopics/aware}} template. </p>}}<!-- Derived from Template:Contentious topics/alert/first --> <span style="color:black">'''—'''</span><span style="color:black">''Fortuna''</span> ↗, <span style="color:#8B0000">imperatrix</span> 17:06, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
