Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Master of Kung Fu (comics) ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Phoenix Force ↗ ([//dispenser.info.tm/~dispenser/cgi-bin/dablinks.py/Master_of_Kung_Fu_%28comics%29 check to confirm] | [//dispenser.info.tm/~dispenser/cgi-bin/dab_solver.py/Master_of_Kung_Fu_%28comics%29?client=notify fix with Dab solver]). Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Master of Kung Fu Battleworld.jpg

64px|left|alt=|link= ↗
Thank you for uploading ''':File:Master of Kung Fu Battleworld.jpg ↗'''. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content ↗. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline ↗ is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag ↗; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page ↗. Thank you.<!-- Template:Di-disputed fair use rationale-notice -->

Fictographies

Hi, Lipshiz. I understand you're a new Wikipedian, only here since July, so first let me welcome you to WikiProject Comics, and secondly, I hope you'll let me speak with you about WikiProject Comics Manual of Style ↗ — in particular the section on fictional character histories ↗.

Among many other style points there, it instructs us that: "In order to justify the fair use of copyrighted material, plot discussions must be concise summaries, not detailed abridgements that can serve as a substitute for the reading of the actual story. Summarising should never be on a per-issue basis and should only outline the plot rather than describe minor details."

Accordingly, I have trimmed the highly detailed 1,750-word, issue-by-issue synopsis at Jimmy Woo ↗. You wrote it in good faith, and simply didn't realize there was a Project manual of style, which such long "fictographies" violate. Thank you for understanding, and please contact me on my talk page if I can be of any help. I hope you enjoy Wikipedia and continue contributing to WikiProject Comics. --Tenebrae (talk) 18:58, 22 January 2020 (UTC)

:Thanks, Lipshiz. Glad to help do some trims. The whole thing is not to relate any given issue's plots, but o simply note any change in the longterm status quo. We also write these "in-universe," meaning as if they are real history. Thus, it is "During an attack by the undersea kingdom Atlantis ↗," rather than "During 'Atlantis Attacks ↗' storyline." I know there are a lot of WikiProject Comics articles that fall below WPC standards, and we try to bring those up to standard rather than use them to a reason to fall below. See WP:OTHERSTUFF ↗.

:Final thing: Last name only ("Woo") after first full mention of a character's name. --Tenebrae (talk) 19:17, 23 January 2020 (UTC)

Mandarin's rings

All the work on Mandarin's rings was lost to become a Mandarin redirect, as was the Wenwu entry which also became a redirect. Hyju (talk) 12:22, 17 July 2025 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm SnowyRiver28. I noticed that you recently removed content ↗ from :Heroes for Hire ↗ without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary ↗. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page ↗. Thanks.<!-- Template:uw-delete1 --> SnowyRiver (talk) 04:18, 13 September 2025 (UTC)

:I just added an explanation for my edits. I had to update certain rosters and removed the Defenders due to them not being Heroes for Hire. Lipshiz (talk) 04:22, 13 September 2025 (UTC)

Regarding your edits on Luna Snow ↗

I rolled these back as the current formatting better matches that used for video game characters, especially given it's a GA. In addition, general consensus is that single paragraph sections are generally to be avoided, and the additions there didn't improve the article in any way, just forced more stutter-stepping in terms of reading.
