Disambiguation link notification for September 17
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Michael Oleksa ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Allentown ↗. Such links are usually incorrect ↗, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. <small>(Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.)</small>
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:52, 17 September 2025 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello! Thank you for your recent contributions to :Alexei Osipov ↗. I did have one note for you. I am working on a maintenance project to clean up :Category:Pages using infoboxes with thumbnail images ↗. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE ↗). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:
{{para|image|{{var|<nowiki>thumb|Some image caption ↗</nowiki>}}}}
Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:
{{para|image|{{var|SomeImage.jpg}}}}.
There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as {{para|caption|{{var|Some image caption}}}}. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks!! You can work on List of Eastern Orthodox saints ↗ now :)
Hello there, I came across your user page after noticing a few saint articles got significant improvements and I must say, it seems we have rather similar goals in terms of editing this encyclopedia (i.e. improving the state of articles relating to Eastern Orthodoxy, especially saint articles with bad infoboxes, which are sadly abundant with saints who haven't achieved celebrity status.)
Anyway, I read in your user page that you struggled with editing List of Eastern Orthodox saints ↗ because of its gigantic size (which was thanks to me ↗ by the way :p) so I recently split the article into 4 sub-lists: A–G ↗, H–M ↗, N–S ↗, and T–Z ↗. Should you wish to add any saints, feel free to do so! After being split, these sub-lists thankfully shouldn't be too slow or laggy. There are possibly more than 5000 (which I counted a while back) more entries with English WP articles to add so there'll be much to work on in future.
In any case, I would like to thank you for your contributions on WP, especially those ones fixing the appearances of saint articles. Many of them which you fixed were on my watchlist so I'm glad I'm not alone in trying to expand and polish them.
May God bless you, 𝔅𝔦𝔰-𝔖𝔢𝔯𝔧𝔢𝔱𝔞? 19:50, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
:Sorry for the late response here. Thank you for alerting me to this, and your kind words. Great idea to cut the Orthodox saints list into different letters. You're doing the Lord's work here.
:In my drafts, I was working on making an Orthodox version of the Chronological list of Catholic saints and blesseds ↗, but I kind of got away from that project. I wonder if you see any value in this? I don't really have anyone to ask lol. Madeinlondon2023 (talk) 21:53, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
:I'll also try to integrate some of the saints I was listing in drafts into these new articles, so they don't go to waste, so to speak. Madeinlondon2023 (talk) 22:01, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
::Regarding the chronological lists of saints, they're absolutely of value! When I first encountered those lists of "saints and blesseds" I was bummed out that 1. they contained mostly Roman Catholic saints post-1054 and 2. the lists themselves were formatted poorly. Good on you for at least changing the titles of the respective lists to truthfully reflect which church's saints are contained within.
::Of course, I will try my best to help with expanding the chronological lists of EO when I can. Thanks to Wikipedia's licensing, you could even copy entries directly from the Lists of EO saints' wiki markup for effiency ('''''as long as you strictly follow''''' the instructions given at WP:COPYWITHIN ↗; I'm advising from personal experience 😅)
::Anyway, I would like to thank you again for your efforts for the encylopedia and I am delighted to hear that you're working on those aforesaid drafts. I took a look at them and they look promising, albeit a few tweaks in formatting could be made (which I should soon make in the future, God willing.) Cheers, 𝔅𝔦𝔰-𝔖𝔢𝔯𝔧𝔢𝔱𝔞? 19:34, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
