Indigo (Bus service)

Hey MangoMan11,

Firstly thanks for looking over the article I submitted for potential upload re:Indigo (Bus Service) whilst it was declined I do appreciate the time spent on reviewing it. I've spent some more time digging for sources to add to the article and cite and managed to find a few more I have tried to focus on the finding independent sources and managed to get a few to fill out the areas that it was bare or replace the ones that were produced by the company that operates the route. Is there anything else that you could suggest adding or changing before I request it be reviewed again as to save everyone's time? Please note its my first article I have written myself.

:Well done on adding more independent sources! However, sources to show that a topic is notable for a standalone article also need to meet three other criteria. They need to be reliable sources, secondary sources, and need to have sufficient coverage of the subject (Indigo in this instance). From a quick glance over the draft, I don't think I see any sources that meet all four criteria, unfortunately. As a general rule of thumb (there's no exact quantity required), you should aim to have at least three different sources (different sources not just references) that meet all four criteria. Article creation can be quite difficult because of this, so well done to you for having a go at it!
:The draft unfortunately needs better sources still to be approved. It can be quite difficult to find them, but don't be discouraged. I can see that another editor has posted some links to useful resources on your talk page and has offered to mentor you, so definitely draw upon those. Perhaps also start by trying to improve coverage of Indigo and/or the "Rainbow 5" on the Trentbarton ↗ Wikipedia page. Adding content to existing articles has a lower threshold for sources, and making lots of small edits to existing articles could help you to develop the experience needed to have another crack at getting articles approved through AFC MangoMan11 (talk) 23:09, 23 January 2026 (UTC)
