Can you add American Priorities' spending for Randy Villegas in the article?

Why did you revert this?
You reverted the following addition to the article about Rob Wittman:
: === Avoiding question on Social Security and Medicare ===
: In June 2026, Wittman pretended to be busy in a phone call in order to avoid a question about how Republicans plan to reduce spending on Social Security and Medicare.("GOP Rep Caught Faking A Phone Call To Avoid Question About Plan To Cut Social Security" ↗ ''Huffington Post'' (June 10, 2026))
Why was this reverted? Isn't it interesting and important that Wittman is avoiding a sensible question about cutting of Social Security and Medicare by pretending to have a phone call? Shouldn't politicians answer important, relevant questions, or at least be honest about refusing to answer? Shouldn't politicians avoid lying? Is it important to protect liars? Joreberg (talk) 04:42, 11 June 2026 (UTC)
:{{ping|Joreberg}} What's important on Wikipedia is to use reliable sources ↗ in a neutral ↗ manner. Your edit didn't do either of these things. See WP:HUFFPOLITICS ↗ and WP:IMPARTIAL ↗. This incident seems to fall under WP:NOTNEWS ↗ and doesn't appear to pass WP:10YT ↗. Perhaps it will become more widely covered in reliable sources and prove to be of lasting importance, but it doesn't meet that bar today. Marquardtika (talk) 14:45, 11 June 2026 (UTC)
::You refer to WP:HUFFPOLITICS. That is a comment about some articles in Huffington Post <b>up until 2018</b>, and is hardly relevant now.
::When an incident is proven through clear and obvious video recording, and the incident is covered by many serious media, what is the reason for complaining about lack of "reliable sources"?
::It is difficult to find a completely neutral source about cases where politician are lying. Should we stop informing about politicians who are lying?
::For your convenience, I can repeat the questions you didn't answer:
::* Isn't it interesting and important that Wittman is avoiding a sensible question about cutting of Social Security and Medicare by pretending to have a phone call?
::* Shouldn't politicians answer important, relevant questions?
::* Shouldn't politicians avoid lying?

Katie Haun
Hi Marquardtika, You were very helpful in creating the Katie Haun ↗ article last August. I would now like to update the page with some new information. Would you be willing to take a look at my edit request, here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Katie_Haun?
Thanks, Yaltaha29 (talk) 19:49, 16 June 2026 (UTC)

June 2026
25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to :Washington Policy Center ↗ when you modified the page, you introduced {{cl|Unknown parameters|unknown parameters}}. Just because you specify {{para|some_param|{{var|some_variable}}}} does not always mean that variable will display. The {{para|some_param}} must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview ↗ button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a '''Show preview''' button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history ↗ of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk ↗ for assistance.
Thank you.<!-- User:Zackmann08/uw/Unknown-params-warning --> '''<span style="color:#00d5ff !important">Zack</span><span style="color:#007F94 !important">mann</span>''' (<sup>Talk to me ↗</sup>/<sub><span style="color:orange !important">What I been doing</span> ↗</sub>) 17:19, 23 June 2026 (UTC)
:{{ping|Zackmann08}} I was trying to update the budget ↗. I switched from the infobox template for institute to organization because that's a more apt infobox for this article. I'm not clear on why you reverted my edits. Now the budget in the infobox is out of date again. Marquardtika (talk) 19:54, 23 June 2026 (UTC)
::If you go back and WP:PREVIEW ↗ your edit at Special:Diff/1337225349/1360785057 ↗, while making this change, you removed the President and CEO as well as the chairman as those parameters do not work in the new Infobox. '''<span style="color:#00d5ff !important">Zack</span><span style="color:#007F94 !important">mann</span>''' (Talk to me ↗/<span style="color:orange !important">What I been doing</span> ↗) 19:58, 23 June 2026 (UTC)
:::Ok, so it seems like those parameters just need to be changed to "leader". I will do that. Marquardtika (talk) 20:00, 23 June 2026 (UTC)
::::That's all I'm asking. No objection to updating the values, but can't have data being removed from the Infobox in the process. That's all! Caesar Rodney Institute
Hi, Marquardtika.
Regarding {{oldid|Caesar Rodney Institute|1360662442|label=your edit}} of the Caesar Rodney Institute ↗, it is unreasonable to claim that the Yale University website ↗ does not qualify as a reliable source (WP:RS ↗). This website is frequently cited in the context of the climate change issue ↗ ({{WP:RSPUSES|yaleclimateconnections.org}}), but is there some downside to disclosing the connection between the CRI and the fossil fuels industry ↗? ChaetoLv (talk) 11:28, 26 June 2026 (UTC)
:Furthermore, information regarding this conflict of interest ↗ can be verified in media outlets listed in WP:RSPSS ↗, such as ''The Washington Post ↗'' and ''The Intercept ↗''.
:Therefore, I believe that it would be appropriate to update the sources rather than removing the sentence entirely. ChaetoLv (talk) 13:50, 28 June 2026 (UTC)
